entered the Route 66 Discount Tire establishment requesting to have tires mounted and balanced on wheels he purchased at a Albuquerque yard sale. The tire technicians mounted and balanced the tires per invoice [redacted]. Customer was informed that he needed to purchase TPM Sensors because the old ones did not work with the wheels. The tire technicians did not know the wheels needed different lug nuts.June 3, 2015 the customer returned to Route 66 Discount Tire establishment. He stated the wheels did not fit right. I check it out myself and noticed that the wheels were from a 2015 Toyota Tundra truck and the customer's truck was a 2011 Toyota Tundra truck. That is why the lug nuts did not fit. I asked the customer where the lug nuts were for his wheels. He stated it wasn't included with the wheels when he bought them. The lug nuts are a factory item, so I called [redacted] because they are a Toyota Dealter too. [redacted] only had five (5) lug nuts which were $111.90 each for the wheels.I showed the customer the difference in the lug nuts and gave him at no cost the five (5) from [redacted]. The damaged studs were repaired at no cost to the customer. That was all I could do for the customer because he did not have the right lug nuts for the wheels.
