Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2015/11/30) */ Hello: I attempted to contact your office on Wednesday, Novat 4:12pm by phone, to discover that you close at 4:00pmI attempted to contact your office again today by phone, to discover that you are closedI then tried to respond to the complaint using the URL address provided in the letter, however that URL did not workI was hoping to ask a question before filing my response, but as I cannot reach you, I will send this email and hopefully speak to someone first thing Monday morning This complaint was filed by the girlfriend of an employee that was terminatedI would like to mention this in the complaint, as it obviously goes to the credibility of the complainer, but do so in a way that it will not be redacted by your officeI was hoping for some guidance on this My response to the complaint is as follows: We understand that a relocation may make it impractical to continue working out in our establishmentTherefore, we happily comply with Missouri law that allows members to cancel out of an agreement when they move to an address more than miles from the gymHowever, members that sifor a membership while living more than miles from the gym may not later site the distance of residence as a reason to cancelWhen this member called inquiring as to how to cancel, she was informed of this policyShe mentioned that her house was "on the market" and was encouraged to notify us with proof of change of residency once it sold, so that we could cancel the membership per her agreementSince that time, she has discontinued payments without providing proof of a change of residency and without further communication with our business, hence the calls regarding her accountIt should be noted that this member was also the girlfriend of an employee that was terminated, which precipitated her desire to cancel [redacted] owner
