Returned and repaired with Galvanized Steel. Customer paid for the parts. lesson learned....Don't repair PVC stand pipe in kind, use steel won't break as easy, if the hose bib (bent nose garden valve) is not opened in the winter it will break, not the steel pipe. Flush In Peace Tim

Further more the tech sent out was a super nice guy and agreed the pic should have never been put in...Brandon worked quickly to repair was very nice and completed the repairs quickly....explained that this was what should have been put in in the first place....Thank You... Sincerely, [redacted]

Review: The day after Christmas my pipes were frozen. I called Rotor Rooter that day. A technician came out at 7pm that night, and the next day,and the day after that! For three days they came out and for three days I was without water! My husband and I are on SSA Disability. At this time both of us were not feeling well. The two technicians that came out on the third day seemed to be on the verge of half hearted incompetence. We had a corner of our line dug up, so the guys could attach a machine to our pipe to run an electrical charge through it. They NEVER scraped or cleaned a part of the pipe to get a good connection. (I realized this the next day!) When the machine was attached to the pipe, the two technicians left. They were gone for about 30 minutes. Didn't tell either of us they were leaving. When they got back, they said we must have a plastic pipe in between the two places they were attached to because they were not getting any continuity, and that we had to dig up our line to see where the plastic pipe is and get beyond that point. I called a friend to help. When we got to the corner of the house, all of a sudden we had water! And my pipe was all metal! MY FRIEND AND HER FAMILY DUG UP MY LINE AND GOT MY WATER RUNNING AND REPLACED MY PIPE TO CODE. When I called the Rotor Rooter office to ASK questions and ASK if the $400 bill could be reduced, [redacted] yelled at me and made me feel like I was viewed as a charity case! [redacted] would not listen to me. She Kept yelling "I can't belive you are asking this". When I tried to tell her about the two guys not scrapping the pipe, [redacted] really yelled "OH NOW YOU'RE GONNA TELL ME MY TECHNICIANS DID'T DO THEIR JOB? NO! I WILL NOT REDUCE THE BILL! NO WAY! NEVER! I'M DONE WITH THIS CONVERSATION!" I calmly told her I was going to file a report with the Revdex.com. She said do what you're gonna do and I will turn you over to collections. Roto Rooter of Yakima took a very passive aproach to our plight. Dont mind paying for services IF services were rendered.Desired Settlement: In the phonebook their add states these words: No Hassle & Guarantees. Because of the way I was treated by office staff, ([redacted]) and the fact that they NEVER got our water running, ( no guareentee and I got a hassle)I want a written appology and the bill to have a 0 balance! I will not settle for less. No one should be yelled at for ASKING questions!!!!
