There has been communication between Ms*** and our agency since the date the complaint was filed Some of the email correspondence is attached The cause of the complaint was a standard audit at the end of the workers compensation policy term running from 3/24/16-3/24/ The
audit of payroll for the period indicated an increase of payroll resulting in additional premium due Since the client had set up automatic ACH payment of premium with the insurance carrier, the additional audited premium was also paid directly to the insurance carrier by ACH payment As the owners of the company apparently do not take a salary, the insurance carrier included them at the state minimum payroll of $51,each Apparently this had a significant impact on the audit premium There is currently a request by the agency to the carrier to review and reconsider the calculation of this charge
