Run as fast as you can. John seems nice but he does shoddy work as does his crew and does NOT stand by his word to fix any problems or finish a job correctly. This company was hired to point our house and install a skylight in the roof. The pointing was mediocare at best and the stained a large portion of my new concrete with chemicals and then hide it with equipment so we wouldn't notice until they left. The skylight was a total disaster. He assured me that he was capable of doing this job. The skylight clearly stated that it had to be installed with the companies flashing or the warranty was null and void. I showed him this and spent the extra money to buy the costly manufacturers flashing and entire line of installation products. I was 8 months pregnant at the time so I was unable to inspect the skylight from outside but John assured me that he had used the flashing and installed it to code. I didn't like how it closed and he said he would come back that it was the window not the installation. Of course the new nursery flooded the first time it rained. I chased John down for months but he never resolved the problem. I had to have another contractor come in to redo it and found out that he cut beams he shouldn't have and didn't reinforce it. Dangerous, unprofessional crooks.
Review: New roof installed by Rosey Construction Corp. during Spring of 2013 had been constantly leaking three (3) weeks after installation. Rosey Construction Roofer had been contacted on multiple occasions during the Fall of 2013 and again during the Winter of 2013 for major leaks due to uneven installed roof and improper sealing. Contractor denied coming and fixing the newly installed roof. The tenants occupying the 3rd floor (below the roof) suffered ceiling damaged along with wet furniture damaged in two of the rooms. The tenants at the 2nd floor suffered damage to ceilings, furniture and walls. Up to Date Rosey Construction Roofing Contractor denies coming back to fix the roof even though the weather has already improved.Desired Settlement: Due to inability of the contractor to fix the roof for over a year, we demand full refund for the roof of the amount of $7,500 plus all applicable damage to under-roof insulation, Ceilings, paint, floors, walls and furniture.
Money will be used to hire a new responsible roofer and do a new roof since the one installed was greatly installed incorrectly.
