Rose City Cycle

Review: I was given a quote of $31. 89 for the repair of my bicycle. The repair of the front break shifter a part that cost $14.99 and labor costs of $15.00. I received a phone call reporting that more work would need to be done to the bike than originally detected by the bicycle technician and that it would not be worth the repairs to the bike because the work would cost me more to repair than the bike is worth. I asked for work to be stopped on the bike. When I picked the bicycle up from the repair shop they had not completed/fixed the bike. It remained in the same physical state as when I had dropped it off four days before. However, the job that was originally supposed to cost me $31.89 had not been completed and they still insisted that because of the labor they put into the bike they still would charge me $20.00 for the work. No work was done and the guarantee from the technician that the job could be completed was not fulfilled but they charged me $20.00 fully knowing and returning the bike to me an incomplete project. At no time was I notified that if the bike was not fixed but was worked on there would be a labor charge.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $20.00 charged to me for the labor done on my bicycle. The shop was unfair and gave me back my bike incomplete but gladly took my money after the technician told me only 45 minutes was given to fix my bike.
