A former employee of a franchise in Cape Cod. I left to start my business due to verbal abuse the owner and the refusal to give me a raise and stated to me that i`m the reason his "arm shakes" and takes volume because of me ( which I have recording of) and how the other employees didn't like working with me but yet never fired me nor held any meetings to mediate any issues He was spotted outside my home taken pictures of work van while my 7 year old daughter as home. And has threatened to sue me for 5,000 . dollars simply because I mentioned on my website that I was " former employee of Rooter Man" A website that nobody can find unless you typed in the name of my business directly. They are claiming different.I know this because the host sends me an email every time some one clicks on my site and so far i've only gotten one email about a week ago. I removed the name from my website upon receiving this letter today but from it states I have to pay 5k in " damages" I would like to make sure that the franchise knows about this bullying of single Dad trying to make a life for his little girl and broke away from the abusive nature of this owner. 917 5334410 . I have little money and cannot afford what my ex boss is asking. It is bullying attempt to monopolize the market in which I the average american have right to conduct business.

Ms. [redacted] called us for sewage backup which we responded to. She was quoted a price of $246.43 from our price book for cabling a mainline. After we got the sewer opened she wanted our tech to clean the waste of the floor and clean the floor. She was told this would be another $100 for additional...

time and labor which she agreed to. So we proceeded to run her card for the $346.43 and it declined she was already overdrawn. So we ran it for a lesser amount of $335.22 which went through and to her knowledge. She he then called us and told her she did t agree to the $3335.22 and only wanted to pay the $246.43 the original amount even though we have a signed invoice with the changes.  In order to appease her we agreed to refund the $88.79 back to her card and only charged her the $246.43. We never told her we would refund 100% of the money, the work was done and she signed the final invoice. She does not have a problem with the work she is just trying to get it for free.  We feel the we have gone above what we need to do to appease her and no further action will be done at our end. Thank you

I apologize for any misunderstanding but Mrs. [redacted] has spoken with April directly several times. April had told her that we charge a flat rate based on the job. We were called by the [redacted] family for a sewage pump that wasn't working. They were given a an estimated price over the phone before we...

came out. They were given the exact price when we pulled and sized the pump. They were happy with the service when we left. Then she was unhappy with the price several days later. Our tech was there for about three hours however we also pay him for travel time to and from the job also travel time to go and purchase the pump therefore this is an all day job we have to charge for. Our price is given up front and includes all labor and materials the customer knows the price before we begin the any work.  Mrs [redacted] has our price on her invoice and she knew it before we even went out to her house. If she likes I will call her and explain to her and explain to her that that is our price.  Thank you.

Complaint ID:...

[redacted]
It has taken a bit to respond to this complaint as there was nothing on the complaint identifying the actual location where this took place. We we hired by a third party Property Management company whom we work on over 60 properties to work on the property in question. All work was requested and authorized by the Management Company while the plumbers were at the duplex attempting to locate what was called in as a slab leak.
On 1/14/2014 the original call was for a puddle by front door of unit A. Plumbers arrived and were allowed entry to unit A, where they indeed found water, but the source was coming from Unit B ( meter was spinning). Tenant was not available on the B side until the following day.
On 1/15/2014 the plumbers were again dispatched to location. Meter for B side was spinning, indicating a leak. They began trying to test for leak source by attaching a gauge to get the water system to hold pressure. There were so many items in disrepair that they had to fix them as they went in order to get the system to hold pressure. As they discovered there were multiple sources, they spoke to the property manager and were authorized to continue with repairs. They found a leaking hose bib, 3 stop valves under sinks leaking, and improperly installed shower cartridge in the Master bathroom and a toilet that was leaking from the tank bolts for some time ( there was about a gallon a day of water going under the floor). Two plumbers were there from 9-430 completing these repairs and testing the system.
In addition to these repairs, it was noted there were tiles missing in the shower in Unit A.
After completing the repairs in paragraph 3, the plumbers were finally able to get their gauge to hold a constant pressure- indication that their repairs had sealed the system. And the meter was no longer spinning. These are all indicators that they had located isolated and repaired the leaks. The itemized bill sent to the Property Mgmt company totalled $1080 plus tax, less a volume discount we offer them for a total of $1000. An itemized invoice was provided.
On 2/11/2014 we were called back to the property by the Management Company, stating there was water in the middle of the living room floor on side A. The plumber arrived to find an obvious leak on the hot side this time (the water was hot). He began repairs but the property management company stated the homeowner wanted him to leave the premises.

We were dispatched to Mr. [redacted]s home by [redacted] to investigate two leaking water heaters in his attic. Two plumbers were sent and they did in fact find that both heaters needed to be replaced. They notified [redacted] who ordered two new heaters of the same size. (40 gal...

gas). The new heaters, while they are the same capacity , have different dimensions than the heaters from 10 years ago(taller, slimmer). When the plumbers got the new heaters in place, the height was slightly different and caused the storm collar to raise up from flush with the roof. It did not damage the vent, the roof or the heater in any way. This is a common problem when installing these new heaters. We are capable of modifying the vents; unfortunately, [redacted] does not cover for these vent modifcations on their home warranty contract. The plumbers explained this to Mr. [redacted], and offered a simpler, cheaper option which was to have a roofer or handyman with a tall ladder come and push the colllars back down from the top. We do not have tall ladders, nor are we allowed to climb on roofs per our insurance.
Mr. [redacted] contacted the office and asked to speak to the supervisor. They spoke by phone and then the supervisor agreed to stop by the residence. When he arrived, Mrs. [redacted] was there. He explained at length the b- vent non coverage, then called [redacted] to verify again, and let Mrs [redacted] speak to them on his phone, where they again explained the non coverage. The supervisor left a bid for us to do the B vent mods, which when complete, would allow the collar to be pulled back flush with the roof. That bid total was $321. He again recommended they hire someone cheaply to climb up and simply push the collar back down. Mrs. [redacted] stated Mr. [redacted] would probably still want to talk to [redacted] himself. As we received another inquiry about this job later from [redacted] , we assumed he had made that call and they had explained his non-covered items again.
Thank you.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that their reply does not represent the true chronology of events.  And for the record, their 1st invoice was not itemized.  I find their business practices unethical, and will not use them again.

Rooter-man is very knowledgeable and Proffesional. His prices are resonable. He has a quick response time. I recommend his services

Roy was very efficient and knowledgable. He was prompt as well.

Roy replaced 2 french drainage boxes and pipe drain that had been broken due to tree roots. He correctly recommended to replace with a 4 inch ABS pipe, way stronger that the flimsy 3" one the builder put in. The drain was pitched correctly for optimal water drainage. We were very happy with the end product. Now all we need is some more rain, an occurrence that always concerned us before the repair.

We had about 114 ft of pipe laid along with 2 new boxes and were charged $3200.

Experienced and fast, great service experience.

Review: We had a sewage ejection pump installed at our home on 8/9/16. Right before they installed the technician gave a quote of around what we were actually billed. My complaint is that our receipt has no itemized list of what the $3176.37 bill is covering. Nor does it have the actual name of the pump that was used. I have called the company 5 times asking to talk to a manager(whom I was told was on vacation at one point and then they were short staffed and too busy at another point) about the bill and/or an itemized list and I have yet to receive a phone call or a list. The secretary told me "it is not in their policy to give out that information". I was also told she has no more information on what was installed than what I have on my receipt. All that my receipt says is "supply/install sewage ejection pump... $3176.37". And labor could not have been that much as they were only there at most 3 hours. Just makes me feel like they are trying to hide something.Desired Settlement: Like I had asked on the phone to the secretary I would like a phone call from the manager and an explanation about what all the bill is covering.

We had a mainline blockage, I called out another company and was told that after their camera inspection they had found roots growing into the sewer line and that we would need to have them dig up the yard and replace the pipe connection at the septic tank. I had Rooter-Man come out and check it out. Turns out that there was a minimal amount of roots in the line and they are coming from inside the tank, not the connection. They cleaned out the roots from inside the pipe and used a chemical to kill off the roots in the tank. So the bottom line is digging up the pipe connection to the tank would not have solved the problem. Thank you Rooter-Man for your honesty and hard work. Rooter-Man saved us $2,500.00.

Rooter-Man is a great company to use. The owner [redacted] is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and on time. We have used them numerous times and would never call anyone else. Pricing always seems fair and competitive! Best of all you can trust [redacted] to find the problem, repair or replace it and not try selling you everything on his truck like some other plumbers I have used do!!

Calling Rooter-Man is always a great experience.

We had Rooter-Man out to install out water heater. They did a great job with no upselling. They did what they said they would do for what they quoted when they arrived. We are very please

Review: I had received services from this company they did not do the job correctly. They proceeded to tell me they will reimburse all money. They did then they took it back out and they overdrawn my account by $69. I tried calling them they first said the supervisor was not in for the day then they said the supervisor was in a meeting. But they said they would give her the message and she should back to me immediately after her meeting.Desired Settlement: To be able to get my $246.43 back plus the charges from my bank for the overdraft.
