I'm not complaining about their services provided I'm complaining about their spamming *** users email and text inboxes with fake"interested" people who link a site that requires signing up and paying for access to view their fake profile This is advertising and marketing abuse

To Whom It May Concern:We received a Revdex.com customer complaint letter from user Terra Wilson .She has canceled her subscription after scheduled renewal took place on 4/*/Her statement that she canceled her subscription on 3/**/and received a system error is a lie, as you can see in the file
that we attached, she didn't login to her Roomster account on 3/**/As a courtesy to her we are issuing a pro-rated refund of her last transaction.We consider this matter is closed

The Roomster app was sent to me immediately after I posted a listing for a roommate on *** The trial offer of $for days was offered to continue viewing the app Apparently if you do not cancel within days Roomster charges you $for a monthly package with no warning I continued to be charged for months with no notice even though they had my email address and could easily send notifications my way I finally found out I was being charged after seeing my credit card statement Every roommate contact that was forwarded to me appeared to be a scam I believe these contacts were scams because as soon as I asked for a rental application to be filled out, I never heard from them again Every contact through Roommster had a far fetched story about wanting to rent the place sight unseen and that they wanted to send money right away to secure the room I do not recommend Roommster.com as a sight to find roommates They prey on those who use *** to make legitimate connections

DO NOT USE THIS SITE! I purchased the day subscription and at no point I was told that I would be charged $the second my days was up! The only phone number available just sends you to an operator saying "*** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** * *** ** ***" I tried the *** helpit does not lead you to help, it simply takes you to your profileI also did the refund for which I only am supposed to get $back when I only had the account for days after my days endedComplete crap of a companyI think it is sad that the operator automatically tells you that a refund is available, shows that they are completely aware of the disgusting scam they created

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: As far as I know nothing else can be done even though I am not happy with this because it's just my word against theirs, I didn't save a copy of my emails I sent to them because I never thought that I would have to deal with this on this level But I guess that is why they are not accredited by the Revdex.com and why they have a grade C complaints about this same issue I guess WE all need look more closely whom we re dealing with w/ these online scams My message Roomster.com is that if you had a service that that was worth your tricky billing practices then you wouldn't get all these complaints

*** ***, makes inaccurate statements to the Revdex.com, We have attached a screenshot of here helpdesk conversation with the 24/customer service agent, we have also sent her a full refund of all $charges equaling 89.95please note that all charges were authorized as part of her
subscription agreement of 4/**/2:45:PMwe have issued the refunds as a courtesy and to further provide excellent customer service. We now consider this matter closed
