Ms*** signed our contract on October 2, to have a new roof installed at her home located at *** *** ***, Hyattsville MD On Friday, October 10, we called to schedule with her the new installation for Monday, October 13, We arrived the
morning on October 13, and began the roof replacement Within an hours time we had the old roof removed and upon inspection of the wood decking we found some deteriorated wood that needed to be replaced on Ms***'s home Initially Ms*** said she was not going to be home for the installation, but the foreman noticed she was still there and asked to use an outlet to plug in the power saw in order to cut the wood being replaced on Ms***'s home In other situations, we will ask the customer for permission to use their electricity when we have to use the saw for wood replacement When that is not permissible we will use a generator, a simple no would have sufficed but Ms*** gave us permission to use her outlet and we replaced the deteriorated wood After the deteriorated wood was replaced the underlayment was installed At about 11:am, after roof was covered in waterproof material and during their lunch break, it rained a short while Approximately thirty minutes later the men were back to work and skies were dry The roof was protected the entire time and no moisture was absorbed Ms*** has a labor warranty with ROOFWORKS and a Lifetime limited warranty with the shingle manufacture We registered her warranty and have since mailed the complete packet I recently spoke with Ms*** and she has received her packet and we will be scheduling a time at her convenience to come and do a thorough inspection Thank you!
