complete smog check and found the vehicle failed the smog check due to the fact that the vehicle's on-board computer system has not completed the emission system's self checkThe OBDII is not readyWe advised the customer for the reason the vehicle failed the smog check and provided her with a copy of the completed smog checkWe offered her an estimate for us to reset the monitors and retest or she could drive the vehicle for a few days and bring it back to us and we would recheck the monitor's see if they resetShe declined the estimate for repair and retest, paid her bill and took her vehicleShe returned in a few days and we rechecked to see if the monitors reset at no-chargeWe then advised her we would perform a retest for half the regular price of $plus the $certificate fee, she declined and took her vehicleOur offer for a re-test is still open if she agrees, which would be $plus $for the certificate
