Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 10, 2014/11/10) */ The following is our response to the above complaintThank you and we hope to resolve this issue ASAP November 10, To Whom It May Concern: This correspondence responds to the complaint of Mr [redacted] submitted to the Revdex.com concerning my company, [redacted] ConstructionI received the complaint in October I was surprised to receive the complaint and the demand for a refund through the Revdex.com, rather than directly from Mr***It is unfortunate when disputes like this occur and instead of people dealing with each other directly they escalate the situation by involving other peopleAnyway, here we are The short answer to the complaint is that Mr [redacted] and I just couldn't see eye-to-eye on who is in charge of the construction and how it should be performedI assumed Mr [redacted] hired me and my company for our expertise and knowledge, but he insisted on being heavily involved in how my workers and I did our workThe situation became intolerable, with Mr [redacted] questioning seemingly everything we didI simply could not satisfy him, nor do the work with him over our shoulders on everything I am willing to refund some of his money, but certainly not the "refund of at least $2000" mentioned in his complaintI've had my bookkeeper (who is also my wife we're just a small family business) run the numbers to figure out labor, material, and overhead (i.e., how much I invested in the project before Mr [redacted] and I weren't able to work things out) As Mr [redacted] noted in his complaint, he paid me $as half-down on the projectMy labor, material, and overhead invested in the project amount to $Thus, I am willing to refund the difference of $1441.29, but only if Mr [redacted] and sign a "mutual release" so that both sides can go their own ways without one side or the other getting any lawyers involved (which I certainly don't want to do, and which I don't think would be productive for anyone)In short, I'd like to let Mr [redacted] move on, and I'd like to move on, and put this matter behind us Sincerely, RON SANSONE CONSTRUCTION, INC /s/ [redacted] C [redacted] Consumer Response / [redacted] (3000, 17, 2014/12/01) */ We would accept the businesses proposal and would like to move forward in doing so
