satisfactory. The customer was sold healthy plant material, (specimens from same crop that are still at our facility look great) and was given a planting guide at the time of purchase. We can't be responsible for what our customers do with the planting guide once its handed to them. We have a copy of the same written document pertaining to the sale. Our plant guarantee would cover this situation had we not personally visited the planting site and seen that the plants had not been installed in the best way and in the best of situations. Its funny that the only 7 plants out of this crop that we have had issues with are the 7 at this site. Three of the plants were probably too far gone, in mid May when we visited, to be saved, so to satisfy our customer, we are willing to extend our guarantee to those 3 plants even though we still do not claim any responsibility for their failure in this situation. Furthermore, we are not the ones who originally planted the shrubs. The customer used their own person to install, whom we can only assume, knows the proper way to plant. We had offered an independent contractor to come fix the problem but they are very busy this time of year and were not able to get to this job as quickly as the customer wanted or as fast as we also hoped for.
