April 14th,2017To: ***Spoke to client after ***; she has 135k on her Jeep Wrangler and the engine seizedShe is stating it should be our responsibility to pay for it as we looked at her car miles prior to it blowing upWe stated to her the reason it failed was for a lack of oil and
she says we should have caught that at time of our inspection over miles prior to the damagePrior to this visit we had not seen the car for mites and although our tech did inspect the vehicle and check the oil there was no issues with the levelthenwe noted several items that day wrong with her car during the MPI but oil was not lowWe feel very' bad for her with this engine failing and tried to accommodate her (as she has brought that vehiclehere many times for service since new) by discounting an installed Chrysler reman engine from well over $PWS LABOR (as I remember) to around $INSTALLED (again as I remember) but She continues that it is OUR fault her engine failed which it simply is not.We feel very bad for this unfortunate situation and tried our best to help her by literally putting aChrysler warrantied engine in at a substantial discount but she is not satisfiedJust the labor alone would be hours at approximately $per hour which we were doing essentially at no cost to her. We did check Ms*** oil levelShe drove miles since her last visit hereWe believe the PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve stuck causing her engine to consume the oil internallyThe very first item In the Chryslers diagnostic procedure book for oil consumption is a faulty PCV valveWe haveseen this beforeFurthermore we did not change her oil the last time it was dueThe last oil change wedid was at 120076, The vehicle now has Did they put the correct oil in her car? The wrong viscosity oil can cause oil consumption tooHer owners manual states that the level should be checked at every fuel stop(especially with 135,miles)! Had she done this, the failure would have been averted. We have offered Ms *** a $discount on her engine replaced due to her history with us.$vs $That is basically our cost, Not sure what else we can do for her,*** ***, Service manager, Rogers and Rogers CJDR

Dear *** ***:
Thank you for helping me
I have received a full refund of $129.95, and consider this satisfactory and complaint resolved
If it wasn't for the Revdex.com, I was told this matter would of never reached those at Rogers & Rogers Chrysler Jeep Dodge, who are capable of handling matters of this natureIndeed there are factions within this business that appear to shift the blame off on one another; and having a mediator such as the Revdex.com is necessary and appropriate
Sincerely,

Review: I am having electric issues with my truck, it has been in the shop for more than two weeks in diffrent times. The mechanics cant pin point the problem. I feel that they are guessing. They have already changed the battery , fuel pump and the ignition key and some parts in the diferential.Desired Settlement: I am asking for a full refund of what I have given in my truck, I am in debt for something I need and cant use. I need a good working truck

Arlena [redacted],
We have contacted customer and invited him in to discuss his issues. He did come in on 2/05/14. He told us that his main problem with starting was resolved. His only complaint is at times his engine surges at an idle and cruise control also surges at freeway speeds at times.
We made him an appointment for 02/11/14. He called on the 10th and cancelled appointment. He is going to call to reschedule.
Will let you know.
Sincerely

Review: On March 20, 2014, I took my vehicle to Rogers & Rogers to have my A/C charged. They gave me an estimate for $89. On March 21, 2014, I got a call from the Dealer that a "Massive Leak" was found, and would not hold any Freon. I did not believe them, because I had previously done a repair on the vehicle's A/C system, and I know it was holding a charge before I took it to them. [redacted] the service manager, couldn't even tell me specifically how he came to the conclusion that there was a "Massive Leak" (I worked in Air Conditioning before). I kept asking questions, "How do you know there was a leak?" .. "How do you determine if there is a leak?" He just stood there dumbfounded, fumbling over his words. Then being that I am a little man, [redacted] intimidatingly said to me, "You Doubt Me!" From that point I just wanted to get my vehicle and leave. I had to pay $129.95 not the $89 they estimated to me. When I got my vehicle back, I drove to Walmart, bought a can of Freon, put it in, and it's been holding a charge ever since - no "massive leak" - the A/C now works fine!
The reason I took my vehicle to the Dealers to have A/C charged is because I figured the "Dealer" would be professional and do the right thing - I can see now I was wrong.Desired Settlement: Since they lied to me, and didn't perform the service I requested, I want my $129.95 back.
