Review: just put new suspension on my jeep. brought it to roger daniels alignment so I dont waste my new tires. they said they had to reomove all 4 control arms and adjust them. they said that my track bar was set right so they just tightened it down. couple days later brought it back because it is wondering all over the road. track ar is loose and not in the middle. said they fixed it and on my way. slowly but surely the car is wondering again. I look under myself and 2 control arms are about to fall off the axle, and track bar is loose. called them right away and I told them I didnt want any money or anything like that just to make a complaint. he, the owner, said I am a liar and in make believe land and nothing I am saying is true. I said this is ridiculous I am not lying. he replied with what ever I am going to sue you for harassment I have a very good lawyer.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back 150.90 because the car is dangerous now and I would like a new track bar bracket because mine is ruined now because they left my track bar loose.

Mr. [redacted] brought us a 1992 Jeep Cherokee into my shop on April 14,2013. The customer stated he had
installed his own lift and needed an alignment Installing a lift typically requires a pinion anglelcaster
adjustment and we also did that Mr. [redacted] also approved the repair of a coil spring retainer, the blind nut was
stripped. We performed these services only and charged him $150.90. This customer says we adjusted all 4
of his control arms and he is mistaken, an alignment, pinion angle, and blind nut repair was all that was
done. Mr. [redacted] states that we left his track bar loose and this too is not accurate. The front track was within
factory specifications, we had no reason to set or adjust, if that was necessary we would have charged him
$75.00 to set back He returned 3 weeks later stating his back bar was loose and kit we had left it loose, we
infonned him that his track bar did not perform property with his lift and he needed a heavy duty bar with
larger bolts and bushings. We did not charge him for this diagnosis.
Two months later Mr. [redacted] posted horrible reviews on Yelp & Google that included many untruths and
name calling. The Google review was posted by Mr. [redacted] ,the review on yelp wasn’t even posted by him; he
had someone else post it that wasn’t even our customer. In these reviews Mr. [redacted] stated that another
mechanic fixed his issue in 10 mi After this he called us and made threats to continue to slander my
business with these false accusations. I also informed Mr. [redacted] if another mechanic had supposedly fixed
what he feels was damaged by us that them was no productive solution I could offer him. During this
conversation I asked Mr. [redacted] if he had perfonned a 500 mile retorque of all bolts on the lift, a necessity for
safety, and he did not even know that was required.
We deal with home mechanics often, there is a required finesse to let them know parts may be inadequate
or installed inappropriately. I feel Mr. [redacted] has installed his own lift (a very complicated and labor intensive
process) and did not appreciate our input regarding the parts he had neglected to change. When he returned
3 weeks after the Initial appolnbnent complaining about his back bar, we felt very strongly that he took his
Jeep home and attempted his own adjusunents with inadequate tools and knowledge. In the spirit of
customer service we rechecked the vehicle and made it very clear he needed a different track bar. I know he
thinks we did something to all his control arms and that is not the fact, I would have charged him at least
$250.00 for that service, I am running a business, I do not give away free labor.
Sincerely,
Roger Daniel
