Review: MY FAMILY RECEIVED COLLECTION NOTICE FROM ALLIANCE COLLECTION AGENCIES REGARDING PAYMENTS MADE ON A CPAP MACHINE OWNED BY ROEHL TRANSPORT. PAYMENTS WAS MADE EACH MONTH TO ROEHL TRANSPORT ATTENTION CHELSEA ANDRESS. TODAY THE LAST PAYMENT IS MAILED OUT THAT COMPLETES THE TOTAL COST OF THE MACHINE. OUR BANK PROVIDED THE PHOTO COPY OF EACH PROCESSED CHECK SIGNED BY ROEHL TRANSPORT.[redacted]Desired Settlement: MY FAMILY WANTS ROEHL TRANSPORT TO STOP THE COLLECTION AGENCY PROCESS, CLEAR OUR CREDIT REPORT, GIVE US WRITTEN DOCUMENTATION THAT SHOWS NO FURTHER PAYMENTS ARE REQUIRED, WHY ROEHL WENT TO A COLLECTION AGENCY WHEN ALL ALONG THEY BEEN CASHING OUR CHECKS.

Response:

I am writing to you in response to your request for a response from Roehl Transport concerning the complaint filed by [redacted].

Although I appreciate the role of the Revdex.com of WI in helping employees resolve concerns they may have with their former employers, I was disappointed that Mr. [redacted] chose to file a complaint without first providing me the opportunity to resolve his concerns, in light of the fact that we were engaged in discussions about this very matter on the same morning he filed his complaint with your office.

Shortly after Mr. [redacted] filed a complaint with the Revdex.com of WI, he contacted me. He said he received a letter from Roehl stating that we required him to pay his loan in full or we would send him to collections. As I explained to Mr. [redacted] on 1/29/14, this letter was sent to him in error. I apologized to him that he received this letter and assured him, over the phone and in writing, that Alliance would not pursue collection actions. I contacted Alliance to ensure his name was not associated with any collection activity. I received confirmation from Alliance that they did not pursue collection activities and verified that Mr. [redacted]s credit report was not adversely affected by this incident.

Here’s a copy of my email correspondence with Mr. [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] told me that he was satisfied with the resolution I provided him.

Please contact me if you would like to discuss this matter further. It is my intent to successfully resolve this matter so Mr. [redacted] feels that I have been responsive to his concerns and that this matter is in fact resolved.
