Review: In January of 2011 I contacted [redacted] from Rod Cars concerning a post he had on ebay for a complete ready to run engine and transmission he had listed on ebay. After talking back and forth with him for several weeks he agreed to build me a complete, ready to run engine, transmission, and all of the parts to make it run. At the time, I was stationed in South Korea and he agreed to have it complete and shipped by the time I arrived home in June so that I could immediately get to work on rebuilding my classic camera. I paid him $5,000 and sent him a supercharger my wife bought for my birthday (cost $6500) that he also agreed to install before shipping. As the time came closer to the time I was supposed to get home it became harder and harder to get in touch with him. Every time I did get in touch with him he kept telling me he just needed 2 more weeks. I got back to the states that June 2011 but no engine. I continued pressuring him to send it to me but it was getting harder and harder to get a hold of him and when I did he would tell me he was busy and would have it done in several weeks. I ended up deploying to Afghanistan the following November (still with no parts). I continued to try to pressure from overseas but it was hard. He wouldn't respond to emails and began also screening numbers that appeared to be from overseas. I got home almost a year ago June and have called him on average 3 times per week but he has never answered the phone. Several times he would respond with a text message saying he was busy and needed several more weeks. But I haven't even gotten a text response in over 2 months. My wife and I have started legal action but would prefer it not come to that.Desired Settlement: Preferably I would like him to deliver as promised within 2 weeks time. But at a minimum I want all of the parts sent to me. Engine, cam shaft, cylinder heads, pistons, ecu, wiring harness, transmission, supercharger etc. (He has a complete excel spreadsheet of everything he promised as well as numerous emails outlining it. At this point, I would take them even if the motor is not put together.Or, he returns my supercharger kit and refunds the money for the other parts he promised me. ($500
