Stayed at the motel the weekend of 5/1/20. Billed for the room for the two nights I was there, and an additional deposit of *** for No show
Called to reserve room for night of 5/1 and 5/2/2020 and gave them the number to my debit card over the phone. I specifically asked what size bed the room came with, as it was just my boyfriend and I staying at the room. He told me it was a king bed. When I arrived at the room he requested my ID and my vehicle description and he verified the price of the room for the two nights. When I left on Sunday morning I left my keys on the front desk, as they were busy helping someone else. It was before 11 AM. Then I saw on bank app about a week later that they charged me a deposit of *** on top of the room fee for *** both nights. I tried several times to get a hold of the manager to no avail. Then I went to the motel at the time the employee told me on the phone he would be there and she informed me he was not there. I called several times, and like today, for instance, I called at 2 PM and she told me he was there but he was on a call so to call back at 3:30 PM. So I called at 3:30 and a man told me he left already. So I told him I was to call back at that time. He gave me a fake email address requesting to contact him there. It's impossible to speak to any management there

This is not RODEWAY INN and Our location is 3555 e. pacific coast highway. Out hotel name is Queencity Inn and we have this name since 2018. The Address mentioned on the complaint from a customer shows the RODEWAY INN in WATSONVILLE RODEWAY INN. Please check the information and correct address for this complaint and send to the correct address. We are not RODEWAY INN and located in Signal Hill. Therefore, the complaint is not valid for us at all and wrong hotel you guys got here. So please check your information again and send the complaint to the correct address mentioned in the complaint by the customer. the phone number of our hotel shows correct but it is not the WATSONVILLE address. so please check the correct phone number for that rodeway inn.
Trying to charge us extra after check in for invalid reasons. Put us in wrong room.
We have been staying in this place for 5 weeks. This past week when we renewed they put us in the wrong room(smoking with no microwave). We had not noticed until we got off work(me being the first to get back).
After getting home from work and noticing. I went up to the office to ask for the proper room (non smoking) or at least a microwave. And at first he said everything was fine and to ask in the morning and I could get a new room if there was one. And then as I was walking away, he stopped me, and was like "oh you have an animal?!"... I said "Yes, yous know this". And he said "if we knew this we would have charged you!" Then we went back and forth on the legality of charging someone for emotional support. And the fact That we have been there for 5 weeks, each week they saw us with the dog and we have all the receipts showing we said we had an ***... They can't charge us, after we already check in and agree to costs. Now they won't refund us for the rest of the stay (one entire week!)And are trying to forcibly charge us a 50 dollar a day pet fee. Even though that should have been all taken care of at check in. Because they knew we had the dog then. The manager was obviously just being malicious. And trying to charge us extra any way he can.... Al because I asked for the proper room... Nicely.
We would like a full refund for extra unnecessary charges that should have been taken about and settled at check in. We would like a partial refund for making us pay for a different room than we stayed in. And a refund for the rest of our stay that we don't want to spend here.
Go across the street to Econolodge!!!!!! The rooms are clean. The service is without question superb and very accommodating verses Rodeway and Andy.
Rodeway Inn and Andy are lying thieves. The rooms are terriblly dirty and with bed bugs. Which is NOT something you want to bring home with you.
This place is getto but priced as if it were the Hyatt.
Deplorable'!
Had I read the reviews about this place I wouldn't have booked it. I could on Choice to hold these places to the standards that they set and this is a huge huge failure to enforce them.
It's time Choice hotels drops these chumps and put them out with the rest of the trash...
Filing a complaint with the Revdex.com regarding my experience and them stealing my money. Which will include their lack of interest or care in resolving yet another issue. But I now read how that's just how they roll.

I will beg to all customers not to stay in this hotel at all. I booked my reservation to booking.com so I can stay 2 weeks later at this hotel. Apparently, I made a decision to cancel my reservation. I followed up several times to Booking.com about the procedure of getting the money back. Booking.com reps stated that Rodeway Inn supposed to return my money back. Then, I called Rodeway Inn, they said that I will not get my money back because I booked my reservation with guaranteed nonrefundable reservation. However, I booked my reservation with a refundable of free cancellation to Booking.com. Therefore, Rodeway Inn general manager didn't comply with the Booking.com policy. In short, Rodeway Inn hotel will get steal your money and will not get your money back. They are rude and disrespectful to the customers. Please! Do not book your reservation to this hotel. SHARE THIS AND SPREAD THE WORDS ALL OVER THE WORLD!!! I should give them

Refund They should be close down because of their illegal transaction that never complied with the Booking.com policy. Plese check Yelp as well with the really bad reviews.

Natural disaster that directly impacts the hotel or the guest's ability to travel to the hotel. Note: for a forecasted natural disaster, the policy applies only if the hotel is located in an area subject to a "warning" issued by the National Weather Service.

Motel owners son refused to credit or refund one night stay that was taken from bank account though he was shown bank statement with 2 charges.
On 09-15-2018 my daughter paid for one night at $71.80. On 09-18-2018 she saw on her banking app that 2 charges were made on 09-15-2018, each for $71.80. The employee during the day said it would be fixed by the ***. We have been staying at motel while trying to find housing and have never had any problems until now. The owners son stated that we owed for a night & locked us out of the room with our belongings inside. He stated that if we could show him 2 charges for 09-15-2018 he would give us a free night, yet when we showed him the double charge he refused to accept it. We had no choice but to pay for another night because he refused to accept the error made on part of the motel. He threatened to fire the *** if we go to the *** to clear this up. He was very condescending and spoke to me as if I am stupid because I am a woman. We have never had any problems with the staff until now that the owners son has come to the property. I feel as though he is intentionally trying to rip us off especially since the account showed the double charge. He said the computer is not wrong and we are.
I want the one night which was charged in error to be extended to us and the free night the owners son offered to give us if the bank app showed 2 charges on 09-15-2018.
This has been resolved.
Double Charged for room; Very dirty
I checked into the Rodeway Inn on August 3-5th. I paid $429.00 for two nights. I paid when I arrived and the next day on my bank statement I was charged again for the same amount. I received no invoice or receipt for my room. I advised the owner I was double charged, she acted like it was not a big deal and it will be back in my account by the next day. I still did not receive it. I called Choice Hotels and they were also very unprofessional and still could not send me an invoice.
The hotel itself was not to code, and very dirty. Our light went out and there were drug addicts in the parking lot where I had my children. This is not the first time there have been complaints. This is unsanitary and should not be used anymore.
A credit to my account that I was overcharged.
Could you please send more information ***. We are not able to find out Rodeway Inn hotel system. If you would send Last four digit credit card number or conformation number . We will more than happy to assist you regarding this Complaint.

The Roadway Inn Castaic Ca. provided deplorable and filthy conditions for a weekend stay 7/20/18-7/22/18. Room Locks did not work, major safety issue
The Roadway Inn Castaic Ca. provided deplorable and filthy conditions for a weekend stay 7/20/18-7/22/18. Room locks did not work, major safety issue. Bedding linens, and bath towels were filthy dirty and stained. Our family had to be moved twice and the front desk staff gave another customer the same room key and they entered in the middle of the night and scared everyone out of their sleep. My husband complained to the manager and the owner of the property call my husband to apologize and said their would be a refund. After a few days of not seeing any refund I contacted the manager of the hotel who said only a small amount of $98 could be credited. I told him we wanted the full amount of $263.34 credited back. He contacted the owner who would only authorize half of the stay of $132 on 7/25/18. I noticed no credit in the afternoon on 7/25/18, and I have a new charge of $66 to my account from this hotel. I called the manager back who said to give it another day to clear and resolve with the credit. As of today 7/26/18 there is still no credit to my account and the $66 charge is still pending. I tried calling the owner, but was only able to leave a message. He has not returned my call.
We would like the full amount of the stay $263.34, plus the incorrect charge of $66 credited back to my account.
we refunded what we discussed and did it when we said.
PPlease close this case. I am satisfied with the response.
