I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted]
The issue is that I had another Company [redacted] Foundation come out to look at French Drains. Mr [redacted] form [redacted] INC stated he could not believe Rocky put in the drains. They are incorrectly put in, not deep enough, does not in clue the right materials such as the mess , and is going in the wrong directions and actually causing water to flow against the foundation instead of away. I sent Rocky the estimated from [redacted] were it clearly states these facts. [redacted] is stating that french drains will work if they are properly installed with the right materials and in the proper direction. I trusted Rocky's because they have been in business a long time and answered my phone calls till I may a complaint. The guy from [redacted] said I should take Rocky's to small claims court . I just want a refund to get this fixed. I don"t trust Rocky"s shoddy work, or that he has the common knowledge to put the drains in.
Rocky’s Waterproofing waterproofed the basement at 2616 Landor Ave prior to Mr. [redacted] owning. And when we waterproofed I noticed there was some dampness in crawlspace so we vented the crawlspace to the drain tile system. Previous owner sold home to Mr. [redacted] and the basement work was...
transferrable to Mr. [redacted]. Basement work is under warranty, crawlspace is not. Had crawlspace been waterproofed, it would have been under warranty.
Mr. [redacted] was getting water in the crawlspace and called my company to come look at it. I told him it was would be around $2500 to waterproof the crawlspace; however he did not want to spend $2500. I tried to tell Mr. [redacted] he needed the crawlspace waterproof however he was insistent for an outside drainage system. Mr. [redacted] was advised we could put an outside tile drainage system at a much lower cost however he was advised before work ever started it will not keep any water out of the crawlspace and outside work does not come with a warranty. The work was performed the week of May 2015, and contract was paid in full.
