Review: On October **, 2014, my wife and I had dinner at this restaurant. The bill amount was exactly $30. We tipped our wait person in cash. The restaurant DOUBLE charged the $30 amount to our [redacted]. Since then, in two phone calls with the [redacted], we were promised that he would mail a refund check in the amount of $30 to our home in North Carolina. In each case, no check was mailed to us. [redacted] even asked us to phone him to let him know that we had received our check for the refund. Our mail delivery is regular and complete. No check was delivered ever.We now do not believe that [redacted] tried to mail us anything and that he likely believes furthermore that our living 500 miles away will make this complaint disappear. However, we see no reason to give up. So, we now contact the Revdex.com to file this complaint about fraudulent business practices by this business and verbal deceit by this [redacted] whose reported name is [redacted] at Rocky Point Townhouse Diner in [redacted].By phone, [redacted] acknowledged the error each time we phoned and we noted our credit card's last four digits for him as [redacted]. The charge receipt that we were given on 10/**/2014 (for $30) was time stamped 10/**/2014 at 19:38;37. Terminal ID [redacted]. Device ID [redacted].
