With regard to Mr***'s concern about the last payment
when cancelling their membershipYes, they both signed up for 24-month
agreements, but the agreement clearly states that their membership
automatically goes month to month after the initial 24-month term, that why
their membership
continued and we continued to bill on both memberships. With regard to Mr***'s concern about the last payment
amount, all memberships require a day notice to cancel and the final billing
amount is prorated for the reasonThis is also outlined in the membership
agreement.I have attached a copy of his agreement for review
Joseph ***Golds' Gym FitchburgHard Rock RdFitchburg, WI 53719 October 12, Bradley *** Operations Manager Revdex.com We Greenfield Ave Milwaukee, WI RE: Complaint ID #*** Dear Bradley ***, With regard to Ms***’s complaint about the piece of
equipment that has been broken. It has since been repaired and the delay in getting the equipment repaired was due to the delay in getting the part from the manufacturer. We attempted to source this part in multiple locations but had to wait for the supplier to get the part inOur facility is over 40,sq ft with over pieces of equipment. We have a lot of alternate equipment that can be used to get the same result that the machine in question provides. We stationed Personal Trainers in the women’s only area to give alternate (and better) exercises for training that particular muscle groupOur staff explained our trouble getting the part and the alternate exercises to Ms*** on multiple occasionsSincerely, Joseph *** COO / Partner Gold’s Gym Fitchburg
We have been in contact to the member and the issue has been resolved Thank you
I do not accept the response of this business, as it took them close 4 months to repair a piece of broken equipment. It was the gym's responsibility to repair the equipment in a timely manner, and they did not do so. A large business such as Gold's should have many alternate resources to find "parts" to repair equipment. If parts cannot be sourced, the equipment should be replaced. This particular piece of equipment had broken down several times before this complaint was issued. Other equipment issues at Gold's are ignored as well, despite complaints (such as the extremely wobbly seat apparatus on another piece of equipment in Lady Gold's). Also, on a side note, no personal trainers were posted in the women's fitness area at any time I was in the gym.
