Rocky Mount Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

Purchased used Jeep from dealership with no mechanical issues. Paid for delivery through dealership. Overheated during delivery w/ no seller responseI purchased a used Jeep Cherokee from Rocky Mount Chrysler Dodge Jeep within the previous 30 days. I paid for delivery through the dealership. Upon delivery, the jeep overheated several times and now has an overheating issue that may be exacerbated by the delivery drivers continuing driving it while overheated. I paid for a jeep with no mechanical issues and was delivered an overheating Jeep, and depending on how long the drivers continued to drive it, there could be damage to the engine, cylinder head, gasket, as well as many other components due to coolant system failure. I have attempted to politely contact the dealership and seller through the emails I have previously used to contact them and I am getting no response. There could be several thousand in potential damage depending on the unknown time it was driven while overheating. The temperature gauge was redlined to the maximum as the driver pulled in the driveway. My hope was that the business would contact me back to correct the issue since it was an issue that happened before I received the vehicle.Desired SettlementMy hope was that this dealership would return my emails and help to correct the issue since the new damage is not my fault. It could be due to any number of factors while the Jeep was being driven down. The dealership should either fix the issue, or allow me to take the Jeep to a mechanic or repair shop and compensate me for the repairs. He is faxing the bill to us so we can see what might have happened so we can move forward.
