Rockstar Games Inc. Reviews (231)

Review: In November 2013 I purchased virtual cash for a Rockstar Game "Grand Theft Auto V" for the Microsoft XBOX 360 gaming console. This purchase was made with real monetary cash. I purchased numerous software vehicles for use with Rockstar Game's software. Upon purchasing an XBOX One and transferring my virtual property to the new system, Rockstar removed all of my purchased vehicles. Repeated calls and "tickets" for appropriate reimbursement did not provide a solution.Desired Settlement: I want my in game vehicles returned to me, specifically the Entity XF, Dinka Akuma, and Truffade Adder. If these vehicles cannot be provided, I would like in-game reimbursement for my losses.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: I've played Rockstar's game GTA Online since launch and It's been rocky. But I've become addicted in a way and so has a majority of my friends, but my problem is now I can no longer enjoy the game I waited years for and payed good money for because their automated systems have wrongfully accused me of modding virtual currency in their game. The thing is I DID NOT DO ANY SUCH THING. I was gifted money I did not want. I was a victim and they threat me like I am the villain by segregating me from my friends and crew mates.

It's not fair, it's not right. I've contacted R* and all I get is an automated message basically saying I'm out of luck.

I want this to be fixed. It's driving me insane This is a simple fix and I should not be treated like I'm nothing. I've been a supporter of this company for ten years.Desired Settlement: All I really want is to be removed from the "Cheater Pool" they unfairly placed me in before the holidays. I't seems so simple, but they make it such an ordeal.

I would also like to get the four million I earned legitimately prier to being gifted the dirty money. A sincere apology and actually being treated like a human other than a # would be nice, too.

I have received a response from the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: The game Grand Theft Auto 5 has an online multiplier component advertised as a feature of this product. After running numerous tests through Rockstar's customer support department they have determined that it is a problem on their end with my player profile. Despite determining this, they have not responded or taken any further action. The online feature of this game has not worked since launch on November [redacted]. I opened a ticket on December [redacted], and the issue is still unresolved.

Ticket # [redacted]

Xbox Live ID: [redacted]Desired Settlement: They have refused me compensation for having to delete my progress in the game and have done nothing other than blame their problem on everything but themselves. At this point I want nothing more to do with this game. I would like a refund in full, I purchased their game digitally through Xbox Live and would like a complete refund as they have sold a product that doesn't exist.

Response:

This customer contacted our Technical Support about a problem connecting to GTA Online, and we are currently assisting the customer in his ticket ([redacted]). The complaint is being correctly handled by our Support team and the complaint should be resolved in favor of the Company.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The product sold still to this date does not function as advertised. I have asked now twice for a refund as im not longer interested in further wasting my time testing their product for them. I have followed all connection guides on their technical site and the product does not work. They attempted rolling back my account on their end to attempt to solve the issue and that did not work either. I again asked for a refund as their product does not work as advertised but seem to be getting nowhere. I am not the only person who continues to experience this problem as their forums are full of others having the same or similar issues.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I resent the fact that they claim I have been "uncooperative". If anything I have gone above and beyond working with them. My contention is simple, it should not take well over a month to get a game to work, when all other multiplayer games I own work fine on the same exact platform. If they poorly designed a game that requires this much troubleshooting for me to get working I DO NOT WANT IT! To be clear, let me provide a copy for you, of our entire transcript, why don't you (Revdex.com) decide if I have really been "uncooperative" as Rockstar Support claims. The last suggestion they made to me was a "known" fix that they they have had up on their site for a long while. It was the first thing I tried before contacting them, but at this point they are running me around in circles waiting for me to just give up. They owe me a refund for producing a broken product. I should not spend months of my time trying to troubleshoot it with them. You will notice that no where in the chat log do they ever respond to my simple request for a refund. This is absurd and shameful for a business to take advantage of customers like this![redacted]

Review: I sent an email about how the game (nba2k16)had no player creation of any other race than black and was basically told that my complaint was trifle and basically told me to stop thinking about myself and my race and realize that we should be sympathetic to african americans. I was not saying we shouldn't be sympathetic I just wanted to know why no other race could make a player of their nationality. I would have to say if they made this to where you couldn't make a black player it would be different story and fixed immediately. I am not trying to be a racist in any form, I want to know why other nationalities were not included. I have bought many games from them in the past and play them with my grandson alot. Every other game we would create a player that would resemble us. Now they have it to seem like white people are very racist and its actually going around the web when I searched it. The emails I received from the company was un apologetic and actually very rude and belittling. This is unacceptable, especially to a consumer who has supported them for years. I asked for a refund and they basically said NO SHOT......Desired Settlement: I want a refund of this game and every other game I bought from this company, I do not support racism in any form. I also want this corrected on the game to where white people are not portrayed as racist people.

Review: I purchased GTA V through [redacted] and have played online for almost 3 weeks now. To get into the game, [redacted] automatically logs me into "Social Club". Well a couple nights ago, instead of logging me in, it gave me an error "Username/Password Combination invalid". I have never changed passwords or usernames, so I called technical support. They asked for verification that the account was mine, but a lot of the information they had was not correct, but it was very close, and they could see the Social club account was linked to my [redacted] account. The first representative was very polite, and said she can see it was my account, but the company policy wouldn't allow her to fix the issue so I asked to speak with a supervisor. He went over all of the same items, except he asked to see a reciept for the game, so I provided it. He told me he would work on the issue, but would not be able to resolve it at that moment and asked me to call back later that evening. When I called back, he was busy and couldn't talk, even though I offered to be placed on hold to wait. The next day, I called back and recieved basically the same story, they are working on the issue, please call back later.

It's easy enough for them to validate that in game purchases came from my [redacted] account, there is no question the account is mine.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is to give me access to my account. They question that it's mine, but can see the in game purchases linked to me. I don't know how their information changed, or why [redacted] no longer automatically logs me in, but that should not be my problem.

Sincerely,

Review: Hi all!

I am referencing RockStar support ticket ID #[redacted] with [redacted]

On the [redacted] of April I linked my account [redacted] account ( [redacted] ) to Rockstar's online platform ( [redacted]) with my email (Which is the same as my contact info for this claim) for an online video game, Grand Theft Auto V ( hereafter GTA V ). Rockstar advertise being able to link and transfer online content between game consoles in their advertising, encouraging people to upgrade to newer video game consoles.

Today, the [redacted], I sold my [redacted] ( hereafter [redacted]) and purchased a [redacted] (hereafter [redacted]). The first thing I bought was GTA V, because I enjoy the game. I had issues transferring my content from my [redacted] to my new [redacted], I could only find an old profile that has been dormant for around a year, that is outdated, and as I regret to admit on my new account (the one on the [redacted]), I spent a lot of real world money, on in-game currency, again, because I enjoy the game. I'd estimate this total amount to be about $200, maybe more or less. I called up rockstar support ( again, support ticket ID #[redacted] with [redacted] ) and asked how I could transfer the information to my new [redacted] account. I was told that there is not way to transfer content from next generation consoles ( Next generation include [redacted] and [redacted]) to next generation consoles. Only from Old generation ( [redacted] and [redacted] [ hereafter [redacted]]) to next generation.

I feel like this is false advertising and that this information hasn't been properly communicated to consumers, and that there should be ( if there already isn't) a way around this.

I am very unsatisfied, and feel cheated, this feeling is compounded by the fact that I have purchased this game 3 times ( [redacted], and [redacted]), and the fact that I have invested ( I consider it an investment because I enjoy this game. ) around $200 of real world currency.

The account name for both play station and [redacted] is " [redacted] "Desired Settlement: I would accept two outcomes; a credit of $200 worth of in-game currency ( feel free to look at the amount I have spent between the [redacted] and [redacted] accounts which are both named [redacted] and provide the exact amount of in-game currency equivalent to the amount I spent ) Or make an exception and transfer the account that was created on [redacted], and transfer it to the [redacted]. I am not seeking any additional appeasements, only what should be mine currently.

Business

Response:

The game Grand Theft Auto V allows players to transfer their save files once from [redacted] or [redacted], to either [redacted] One or [redacted]. The fact that this is a one-time transfer is clearly messaged in-game, on our Newswire site ([redacted]), and on our Support site. The game is behaving as designed and there is no “delivery issue.” This complaint should be resolved in favor of the Company and this is the final comment on the matter.

Consumer

Review: I contacted Rockstar about an in-game purchase of a Whale-shark card and provided them with all the information they requested. Including proof of purchase. To Date I have not received a response, refund, or items.

Ticket number #[redacted]Desired Settlement: I request a refund of purchase price (49.99) or delivery of item purchased

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. Although technical support took 30+ days to respond the issue was resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: When I purchased GTA 5 for my xbox one, I saw that you could transfer your online character from GTA 5 that was on the previous consoles i.e. xbox 360, ps3. After making the transfer I saw that I had everything except my cars. Seeing that many other people were having this same problem, I placed a ticket twice regarding my problem, and the only response I received was an automated response. A lot of other game companies I have emailed or even tried to get support from a live person were more than able to reply within a day or two, but its almost been two weeks and I yet have heard anything back from rockstar's support. I bought four cars with my own real money since I was missing the vehicles and rockstar was taking a while to respond back to me and I have currently four of my vehicle slots already taken up since I had to buy said new cars. I would like some compensation for the vehicles that I lost or to just have the cars back. I have included the names of my cars that I had lost in the desired outcome.Desired Settlement: For me in the future at least some better service from rockstar's support, if anything the automated response could have assisted a little bit. The cars that I had purchased were the Karin Sultan, the Pegassi Vacca, the Dinka Double-T, the Schyster Fusilade, and the Annis Elegy RH8 (which was free so I could always get a new one). These vehicles also include a level 2 upgrade of everything, with light window tints. For the full total worth in-game of these cars I could not tell you, but to have them back or enough money to get them back would be greatly appreciated.

Response:

Since the time of this Revdex.com complaint, our Support team investigated the case and was able to resolve the issue for the customer. This complaint should be resolved in favor of the Company.

Review: As a consumer of Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto Online, I not only paid $60.00 for Grand Theft Auto V to access the online version, I've also spent an additional $40.00 buying their "Shark Cards." As a consumer I expect the game to work as Rockstar Games claims and promises it will work. I expect Rockstar Games to enforce their rules equally and fairly amongst all players. In recent months, more and more people have seen fit to hack and mod Rockstar's online servers. They use god-mode, which means they can kill you during game play but you can not kill them. They use invincibility glitches which is essentially the same as god-mode. They use invincibility car glitches meaning their vehicles and them inside them are incapable of being killed. Players glitch and go under the map to 1) make themselves invincible and 2) kill other players. Players use unstoppable military jets to grief other players in open lobbies. Players use mod-menus to enable their weapons to do, insane, unstoppable things, like shoot rockets from a pistol. Rockstar Games is completely aware of each and every single one of these issues yet for months on end they outright refuse to take any action. They refuse to punish players who do these things, despite their rules claiming they will do otherwise. They refuse to patch the hacks and glitches to prevent players from doing these things and they have claimed numerous times to have patched certain wall breaches and building glitches only to have done no such thing. These things alone have completely ruined and utterly destroyed any fun that myself and 1000's of other players previously were having playing Grand Theft Auto Online with friends and crew members. Rock Star games has sat by and allowed these actions to be perpetrated, despite their rules, even at times, featuring such antics on their [redacted] videos and laughing about them. Additionally, Rock Star games promised players heists, upon which they never delivered. That was their number one selling point for buying this game that there would be heists, however all players have receive has been numerous excuses from Rockstar.Desired Settlement: The time for excuses is over and I demand a full and complete refund in addition to a complimentary version of GTA V for the PS4 for all of the heartache and problems I and countless other players have encountered as Rockstar games has intentionally stolen our ability to enjoy and have fun playing this game that we purchased and which we agreed to abide by the rules. Furthermore, I demand Rockstar Games take IMMEDIATE action against any and all hackers, glitchers and modders, suspending their accounts and banning their systems from accessing GTA Online. I further demand that Rockstar Games immediately fix ALL glitches and hacks thus returning GTA Online to an enjoyable playing experience for all.

Business

Response:

This customer’s first complaint is about other players in GTA Online who attempt to hack, mod, and cheat, which is against our Code of Conduct and EULA. We routinely take action against such players when identified through automated means or reports by other players. This player is able to play the game and therefore does not have an actionable Revdex.com complaint. The second complaint is about a feature that will be released in the future. It was not advertised as a game mode upon release and the customer’s complaint should be closed and resolved in favor of the company. This is our last comment on this matter.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Rockstar Games is attempting to hide behind an extremely vague response proving once again that they could care less about their loyal customer base. Rockstar would do well to remember that without those of us who buy their games, they would be out of business.

The complaint against Rockstar Games has full merit because Rockstar admits that hacking/modding/cheating violates their terms of use, yet they have stated they have no intentions of stopping it.

god mode is completely out of hand. It is IMPOSSIBLE to enjoy online game play with friends because people in god mode can not be stopped or killed and can continue to troll online lobbies at will. I've contact Rockstar Games literally dozens of times via twitter, their email ban hammer and through opening formal complaints with the company. Rockstar Games failed to address any of my complaints. I have no paid over $100 real dollars to play a game so that the game maker can allow people to cheat daily and even hourly.

Players are using god mode in both open lobbies and contact missions.

Players are using hacks and cheats to play as "Chop the dog" online and literally bite and eat other players

Players are using hacks, cheats and mod menus to simulate the rape of other players online

Players are using hacks, glitches and cheats to go under the map to kill and troll other players

Players are using hacks, glitches and cheats to hide in wall breaches to kill and troll other players

Players are using hacks, cheats and glitches to use the invincible car glitch to kill and troll other players

Players are using mod menus to turn themselves into indestructible zombies and aliens, things which are NOT part of normal online game play, to troll other players

Players are using hacks, glitches and cheats to take complete control of other players characters and thus troll them by not allowing them to actually play in that session.

There are literally tens of thousands of complaints directed at Rockstar Games through social media, their own social club, their email and website because all of the items I just mentioned take ALL of the fun and enjoyment out of the game. These issues are not new. Rockstar has been aware of these issues for many, many months and refuses to take any action. It's not about punishing the players, it's about Rockstar's own programmers leaving back doors open to allow these things to happen in the first place. It's about a company who knows there are serious game play problems which are robbing 10000's if not 1000000's of players of good, clean, gamer fun and outright refusing to fix the issues with their game. It's about a company who flat out lied to their fan base, promising heists last Fall, then again this past Spring, only to continuing delaying them despite those promises being a selling point for this version of the game. It's about a company who told their loyal, clean players they will take hackers and modders seriously and then never doing a thing about it. The hundreds of complaints they receive each day go unanswered.

Rockstar can hide behind whatever vague response they want to. They can continue to believe they have control over the Revdex.com so that the Revdex.com will continue to process and close complaints in their favor. Or the Revdex.com can choose to see that Rockstar has failed to protect consumers by allowing hackers and modders to continually access the game, even after myself and others have provided them with the "concrete evidence" they demand, they still refuse to fix the problems at hand. In fact, the only game problems Rockstar has fixed are those which allow players to glitch or hack money because Rockstar wants players to continue to waste real life money buying their shark cards which I outright refuse to ever do again and I will encourage every one who plays the game to refuse the same as well.

We've further complained to Rockstar about individuals who make real life threats during game play to show up at other players homes and hurt them and/or their families. We've complained about players who constantly talk about having [redacted] and even [redacted] though the game and still Rockstar has refused to take action. We've complained about the hate speech directed at [redacted] and the [redacted] community and still Rockstar Games takes no action.

The lack of action by Rockstar Games proves once and for all that they simply don't care about their true fan base, and they don't care about providing a safe, fun online environment, something they promised to do from the word "go."

It's time that someone holds Rockstar Games accountable, showing them that they do not have Carte blanche and enforcing their responsibility to maintain a fun, fair and safe environment for all players.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Review: I bought a game from this company......and the game is defective. This company has refused to respond to my previous inquiries. It doesn't get any simpler than than.Desired Settlement: Give me back what I gave you.

There is no support record of previous correspondence with the company for this user’s email. We attempted to contact this player between October [redacted] and October [redacted] without any response. We assume the user’s issue has been resolved and this complaint should be closed.

Review: On April [redacted] 2015 I purchased, for $60, the Rockstar-developed-and-published game Grand Theft Auto V for PC via the Steam distributor platform. I played the purchased game for some time, eventually taking a break in what I recall being later summer 2015. Steam says I logged about 121 hours of gameplay. When I tried to come back from the break in October 2015, I found that the game no longer worked. Grand Theft Auto V or GTAV has a digital-rights-management software called Rockstar Games Social Club or RGSC integrated into it, and RGSC acts as a launcher for the game. For whatever reason, after October 2015, attempting to start the game would lead to the RGSC launcher opening, then failing to connect to Rockstar's servers, and not launching the game. I put in a support ticket with Rockstar Support in October, asking for assistance. They had me try a few solutions, then told me to wait for a patch and that my issue was being dealt with. The next patch occured in January 2016. I reinstalled the game from Steam, to make sure that no previous version's files were still around to cause issues. The problem persisted, so I opened another ticket. As of today, February [redacted] 2016, Rockstar has closed the ticket and told me to wait for another patch. I consider this, politely, [redacted]. I paid $60 for the game and I'd like to actually be able to play it.Desired Settlement: I'd like Rockstar support to actually help me fix their game that I paid $60 for, or failing that, a full refund.

Sincerely,

Review: I bought Grand Theft Auto 5 on June *, 2015. Purchased from [redacted]. I downloaded disc 1 (install) then started playing the game. The next day it made me download it again but it was still on my storage device. I confirmed it still was. So I tried and it failed. I deleted the dowload and started over again. It kept freezing on download. So it finally downloaded. The next day which is today June **, 2015 it asked to dowload again. So I tried and my system crashed and now it will not turn on. The software from the disc caused my Xbox to crash and fail. Now rockstar claims it's impossible but if I was to download software on a computer the same could happen. My Xbox was not old at all and I never had issues.Desired Settlement: I would like a new Xbox 360, a new 120 gb hard drive and I would like a new copy of GTA 5 if these can not be met there will be a law suit for the a lot more money than it cost to replace these items. If you are feeling really nice I would like a Xbox one instead with at least a 120 go storage and a Xbox one copy of GTA 5.

Business

Response:

We are sorry to hear that the customer’s Xbox 360 has failed, but software does not cause a console to fail. The customer should contact Microsoft Xbox support for help with the hardware issue.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

I later found it was not the software. It was a huge knick in the disc that caused it to keep spinning. I thought it was dowloading and it got over heated and fried. And software can fry your system. People hack people's computers and attach viruses that cause hardware failure and that is software so shut the fk up if you don't know what you are talking about. Your disc had a psychical issue. You can replace my Xbox or face a lawsuit for more than the Xbox is worth

Review: This has become a wide spread issue with hundreds if not thousands of people being affected as listed in this [redacted] post: [redacted]

Some time in November Rockstars Social Club account database was compromised no one was informed and now there are people who with the release of GTAV had there accounts stolen which are necessary to play the game period due to DRM. This wouldnt be such a bad thing but contacting customer support has already seen people not having there accounts returned even after verification that they are the proper owner for upwards of a week now myself its been over 48 hours without so much as a notification on were its at in there process. There network security was at fault and they chose not to warn ANYONE that they might want to change there passwords this is unacceptable.Desired Settlement: I want my account back and some sort of compensation for having my time and good faith wasted. Dont know what the compensation should be but there needs to be something for the people who are affected.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Rockstar's response is either mistaken or a lie. I am registered under this email address at their website and did post there. The link they provided in this correspondence redirects and does not do what they claim. I did call their support line and provided my information and was told my issue could not be resolved until Rockstar patches GTA V. Multiple people are experiencing this issue. Review: The game Grand Theft Auto 5 crashes my system when I attempt in any way to play it online. For three weeks so far I have had an open ticket with customer service who repeatedly invent a new point of attention to distract from the company's responsibility. I have been told that my problem is not important because it is not similar to commonly reported issues. Any issue beside the problem itself are addressed by [redacted]. Per the requests of [redacted] I have made videos taken photographs and detailed my growingly extensive and constant process of attempting to correct the problem while trying to fix the problem with their game myself.

I am told to talk to customer service for every other piece of software involved even though it has been established that the problem comes from files that I have no access to. I'm being run in circles by a company that won't take responsibility for their problematic administration of online services.Desired Settlement: I want my ability to play online to be repaired and restored immediately.

Business

Response:

This customer is reporting a problem accessing the Online mode of Grand Theft Auto V. When he tried downloading his profile on a friend’s Xbox 360 console, he was able to play. This suggests something is wrong with his Internet connection, console, or disc, rather than with our game. Nevertheless, our technical support team has provided various troubleshooting steps to help pinpoint what the exact problem is. This complaint should be resolved in favor of the Company.

Review: I purchased Grand Theft Auto 5 back when the game first came out. I have played it religiously and continuously over the course of several months until about mid way through December. The reason being, I was put into a bad sport lobby. It's true that I was originally put in this lobby because I was misbehaving in the game and I deserved my initial punishment of 16 days in that lobby. With that said, after I was placed in the lobby for 16 days my time randomly doubled to 1 month after not doing anything wrong. Then, after not playing it for at LEAST 2 weeks, I logged in and my time went from 1 month to 2 months and 3 days. I first contacted Rockstar Games in December to ask how in the world my time doubled for no reason at all. No response. Then I sent in another email after I hadn't played for a couple weeks to ask why it was doubled again. No response. At the end of January, Colin G finally replied saying that their records don't indicate I am classified as a bad sport. So I then log in again, and find out my time has been extended AGAIN. FOR NO REASON. It is now February [redacted], more than 2 whole months since I was originally put in the lobby for what was supposed to be 16 days, and I have 2 months and 6 days left. Colin G has emailed me back saying that their records don't indicate I am a bad sport, but I have sent in multiple photos showing that I am clearly listed as one. This is totally unacceptable and it has gotten to the point where I actually have to file a formal complaint to hopefully get some help for a product I purchased 6 months ago.Desired Settlement: After dealing with Rockstar's flawed online service for the entire month of October, and now dealing with not being able to play with my friends since midway through December, I am certainly entitled to a FULL REFUND for my game price($65). I truly don't care if I ever play it again considering it appears I will never be out of this "Bad Sport Lobby". I have been patient and attempted to communicate with Rockstar and they are still giving me the run-around, ESPECIALLY [redacted] I don't know what else I have to do to get some service, because clearly they put out a game that was incomplete. Furthermore ,their support for the game is so asinine it truly is unfathomable how I can provide MULTIPLE PICTURE EVIDENCE to Rockstar and have them issue generic reply responses that claim they have no records of me being a "Bad Sport". I have all emailed responses as proof showing they failed to communicate in a timely fashion and that they IGNORED my photographic evidence saying they can't see I am a bad sport, so if anyone else has filed the same complaint, I am more than happy to turn my emailed communications over for evidence in a court of law--especially for a class action lawsuit. Thank you for your help Revdex.com-I just didn't know where else to turn.

Response:

The customer inaccurately states he has been unfairly placed in the

“Bad Sports” or “Cheater” pool for multiplayer matchmaking in GTAOnline.

The Bad Sport pool is triggered by things like quitting games early, blowing up

other people’s vehicles, and being reported manually or voted out by other

players from the in-game pause menu. The Cheater Pool is where players

who cheat or exploit are put. These customers can still play the

GTAOnline multiplayer game, but they are “matched” with other players with

similar histories for a limited amount of time. If they cease their

negative behavior, they will be removed from the Bad Sport or Cheater pool

again. This customer’s GTA Online account shows that he was repeatedly reported

as a Bad Sport by other players for “Annoying Players” and “Griefing” (which

means causing “grief” to other players by interfering with their games in an

unsportsmanlike manner). The customer has since been removed from the Bad

Sport pool but he may be placed in it again if his actions are not

sportsmanlike. This customer is complaining about the proper functioning of the

built-in disciplinary process of the game which is not the purpose or intent of

the Revdex.com system. This complaint should be closed and resolved in favor of the

Company.

This is unacceptable because since filing this complaint, [redacted]has taken further action on my account saying I have been flagged for "modified tunables" , or in [redacted]'a terms, "modding". This is totally false and is ultimately evidence that [redacted]is perpetuating his personal vendetta against me. I have all emails as proof and this is action he took against me was completely unjustified and it was at the very end of all our communications in the first place. At NO TIME have I EVER modified my console so this is complete and utter harassment and discrimination. I highly suggest strengthening the "quality" of employees at this horrific company, because any employee who starts a personal rift with a paying customer is more of a liability than a value to a company like Rockstar. I highly suggest you read through his later, COMPLETLY FABRICATED, emails. I will now be forwarding all communications to the Consumer Protection Division of the Attorney General's office in Washington State. May god have mercy on your soul.

Review: I am stuck in Bad Sport, the game gave me bad sport for 15 days just because I had to leave a mission because I had to go out for personal reasons, I complained about this to Rockstar and all they do it take your gamertag and details and you never hear from them again, anyways I waited for it to tick down, now I check like on the 4th of january and the clock now reads 14 days, its a joke im stuck in this bad sport thing, unable to play with my friends or family, its the worst thing a gaming company has every thought up, cheating and hacking pools I get but this is awful we should have freedom to do what we want in free roam or in life, I should have to worry about getting bad sport just because I have to quit out of a mission to go out of my house. Theres even a pertition by your own fans to have it completely removed thats how awful it is, my Gamertag is : [redacted] - Rockstar social name is : [redacted] - saves you wasting your time asking me for them again.Desired Settlement: I want to be taken out of this bad sport thing for good, this is a big ask but I want it completely removed, im not the first to complain about it and theres even a pertition to have it removed by your own fans. As I said thats a big ask I just want to be taken out of it completely.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The bad sport system is flawed, iv not played GTAOnline for 2 weeks and iv still got punished so how does that work? Iv opened cases on your help page with no response, now all of a sudden because I open a case on Revdex.com youve sent computer generated replies to all my cases on your site because your [redacted]and refuse to fix the problem, GTAOnline was broken from the start I know it and millions others do, fix or removed bad sport all together. And how dare you demand this case to be closed, you dont talk to the Revdex.com you talk to me im the one complaining and im the one who decides if I accept your response or not so infuture talk to me, and I will certainly not accept your response. The Revdex.com is here to make sure you cant ignore customers like me who spend money for your product only for it to be badly broke or flawed. So no I dont accept your response nor do I accept your pathetic computer generated responses on all my cases on your help site. Ill await your next response.

Review: I was offered a character re-transfer service 12/**/14, for the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One. But due to issues I had with my email service provider, I was unable to reply to their last message... I was finely able to reply 2/**/15, but they marked the thread closed. When I resent the request to re-transfer my character, I was told I couldn't have that service. When I called on the phone this morning, I was told the employ who handled it was negligent.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my Character, that I spent time and effort on. Re-transfer to the Xbox One servers for "Grand Theft Auto Online", considering there was no disclaimer that the process was one time use... I wasn't sure if this part will be shared on your site, so I refrained from sharing the account info they'll need...

Business

Response:

Grand Theft Auto V allows customers a one-time only opportunity to transfer their game progress from an old generation console (Xbox 360 or PS3) to a new generation console (Xbox One or PS4). The customer transferred his character progress once and then requested to transfer a second time. Support appropriately explained that this option is only available once which prompted the customer’s complaint. We have contacted the customer once again to resolve the issue. This complaint should be closed and resolved in favor of the Company. This is our last comment on the matter.

Review: On May **, 2015 I purchased a video game that Rockstar Games created for the PC. On the day of purchase I was unable to download the game because of server problems with the company. I had filed a ticket with their tech support and was contacted by them a day later. For the next few weeks I was told to do different tasks for them to try to resolve the problem. Every fix they had tried to perform did not fix my problem. After multiple attempts of asking for them to give me a code to download from a different server they would not give it to me. When all options were run out for the company they sent messages saying that my issue is being sent to a higher department that will deal with it but I had never received any messages after. I had to continuously send messages to have them contact me and they neglected to for some time. After awhile they contacted me again and wanted to go through the whole process again as if they had never heard of my problem before. After threatening to contact the Revdex.com, they finally gave me the code to download the game from the other server. After trying to use the code I was prompted that the code had already been used. After contacting the company and telling them this had happened they have since ceased communications with me. It has been almost a week since I had last contact with them and multiple emails sent to them trying to get any sort of reply. It is now 7/**/15 (almost two months after my purchase) and I have not received my product in a usable form.Desired Settlement: I would like for the company to simply finish the job and give me what I payed for. I had asked multiple times for them to help me and they neglected to. I feel as if I should get some sort of compensation for the amount of work I had gone through to try to even get the company to contact me at all.

Business

Response:

We checked our Support system and there is no record of contact form the email address used to submit this complaint. The customer also did not provide a ticket # in the Revdex.com complaint. Our Support team is able to resolve activation code inquiries, so if there is a problem the customer can provide the ticket # and we will investigate further

Review: I've tried to get assistance through Rockstar Games customer support for their horrible online service for Grand Theft Auto V on the [redacted], but they can't provide me with any support/information as to why the service is so horrible and how to fix it. What little support they've offered, has come to the conclusion that the issue is on their end and remains faulty and unattended to. They delayed the product for over a year to make sure it was up to the standards of their previous products while still maintaining the standards for the new gaming platforms, yet it seems that every consumer that did "upgrade" was actually tricked into downgrading to a much inferior service.Desired Settlement: I would like Rockstar Games, Inc. to fix their online service for Grand Theft Auto V and compensate every user of their service with 2.5 million GTA$, which is their in-game currency, for releasing a service full of bugs and so users can replace any items that didn't transfer over when they "upgraded" from the [redacted] & [redacted] to the [redacted] and [redacted].

Business

Response:

We are unable to locate any ticket in our Support system from this customer since August of 2014, which was 3 months before the version in question was released. Our Support team is able to assist with technical problems or inventory questions which should be submitted through the customer support ticketing system. This complaint should be resolved in favor of the Company and this is our last comment on this ticket unless the consumer provides an unresolved support ticket number created prior to the date of the complaint.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The company claims they have not found a support ticket regarding this, and that is because I am unable to submit a support ticket or comment on anything on the website. I have contacted their support via [redacted] about this and they haven't assisted me with this in any way; they also couldn't help with this complaint I've filed here, which is why I have taken action through the Revdex.com.I have added screenshots of conversations I've had with their [redacted] support and yet nothing helped.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The online service offered by Rockstar Games Inc., in regards to Grand Theft Auto V has not improved! Did they even read the complaint? Their online service has been a joke since day one and they've done nothing to improve it or explain what's wrong! They send us to their support team, and when we come to the conclusion that the problems are on their end, they ignore the problems. I do not and will not accept the business's response until they finally fix their online service and offer compensation to all the users.
