We are very sorry about this miscommunication, the website in which we were selling tickets mistakenly offered tickets for this event and even though we had requested this customer receive her full refund it still did not go through for some reasonI have now manually insured that her full refund
was given for this even
Review: On [redacted] February 2015 I booked and paid for the History of Art, Crime etc walking your for Sunday [redacted] March 2015 via www.rocksoff.com
The confirmation emails said the tour starts at "any time" so on [redacted] March 2015 I emailed the address given on the confirmation email to ask what time it started and got no reply.
I then found another email address for the company and emailed that on [redacted] March with the same question - still no reply.
On [redacted] March I tried calling the phone number listed on the confirmation email - this rang for a quile then went to voicemail so I left a voicemail asking to be called back - still no reply.
By finding the tours listed on [redacted] I discovered they usually start at 3pm so I headed to [redacted] for 2.30pm and hung around in that are until 3.30pm as well as repeatedly calling that number again and another number listed on their website ([redacted]) which was disconnected. So the tour itself didn't happen and I was unable to get hold of anyone working for the company.
I also tried tweeting them on a number of occasions.
On returning I sent an email to 5 different email addresses listed on their website to ask for a refund. This email was sent on [redacted] March and I have had no reply.
So having wasted an hour, wasted money and time trying to get hold of them and being really disappointed that the one part of my trip I was really looking forward to didn’t happen, I’m now really hoping you can help in getting a refund for this service they did not provide.Desired Settlement: I'm really only looking for a full refund of what I paid for the tour ($37.71) but it would also be nice for them to consider compensating me for the time and money spent in trying to contact them both during the trip and back here in [redacted], and also the huge dissappointment in not being able to do the tour. The calls to them only cost me £2.20 (about $3.30) which I know isn't much at all, but it' money I wouldn't have had to spend if I hadn't had this problem.
