Issue: Approximately 3 - 4 months ago, we had a small hole in our ceiling that needed to be patched. I contacted the above business, and the owner (***), said they could repair the hole. Over the course of about a week, the hole was repaired, spackled & painted.
Approximately 6 weeks ago, the patch began to peel apart. I contacted the owner's wife, who handles the office. She stated that they were very busy, and asked that I contact them the following week, which I did. I was then asked to call the beginning of the following week, which I also did, and the owner came out on that Thursday. The owner said he would return the next day to put the spackle on, but failed to so do. I attempted to contact the owner the next day but got no response, despite leaving a voice message. When I called the following Monday, the wife said that a tree in "their" yard had been hit by lightning and so they worked on that the whole day. I called at the end of the day and I was told the owner would be out the next day. No one came. When I tried to call the next day, they refused to answer the phone and/or return my call or messages that included text messages.
At this point we are going on a 6 weeks in trying to resolve this. The owner has commented on how he's got big jobs he's working on and so he really doesn't have time to do these kind of jobs, and when he comes, he uses my ladder (not even bringing his own), which to me shows a lack of professionalism.
I am asking that the contractor finish the job a.s.a.p. as we are attempting to Sell this home, and we cannot show the home when this issue is still unresolved.
