Having been in the military 16 years, I can honestly say this is the worst move for my family. Rockey's only sent 2 packers (1 experienced) on the 1st and 2nd day of packing and did not leave until 9:30 PM. On the 2nd day of packing, the dispatcher let us know the truck was delayed and gave me the option of having them pick up our goods and then have their team offload from their truck to the actual over-the-road driver the next day. When I made the call to not have our stuff loaded/unloaded twice, the dispatcher said fine. He did not inform our movement manager or the over-the-road driver of my decision. This resulted in the driver not arriving until 4:30 PM the day after our original shipping day with only 1 packer. Despite confirming with the national carrier, Rockey's main office in TX, and JPPSO that Rockey's was to provide the crew, we had 2 packers from a different crew help, with them not finishing until 5:30 AM. Rockey's does not care about customers or their employees.
