In response to complaint: Our company does not offer a money back guaranteeWe have never offered a money back guarantee in our years of existenceIf we did, it would be in our contractThe required logo elements were delivered to us on March 10, The logo was delivered to client on March 13, Client has and is using said logoInfrastructure and backend of website were then createdOur contract states that the client is to provide a site map and all site contentWe never received a site map from the client and the site content wasn't uploaded until April 27, (see attached)The reason we offered the $discount was to keep the client, not because we messed upWe have never lost a client in years - we wanted to keep that streak aliveUnfortunately, there's a first time for everythingAs client stated, hours have been accumulated on this project, which well exceeds the depositWe were advised to bill the additional hours in excess of the deposit, but we didn't want to do that
Exactly! It is the same response as beforeThat's because the facts never change - they always remain the sameI would encourage anyone reading this to ALWAYS have a contract - it protects both parties
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This gentleman is lyingHis response to this complaint was literally copied and pasted from the email he sent me in regards to my demand letterNot only did he verbally offer a money back guarantee, but he also stated he messed upMy content was uploaded into the Google Drive less than a month after we signed the contractOn April 27th I updated it in detail since he wasn't producing any content other than the base page that when clicked on went no where.!After not seeing any results on my new website I called him to ask whyHe responded with "Well you need to Ping me when you upload documents into the Google DriveHe is the designer and it is his responsibility to check the designated location he set up for pictures and website contentWhen I wanted to terminate the contract he did everything in his power to keep me as a client including admitting he messed upDuring the time he supposedly was working on my website he went to Mexico, had kidney stones and had a bathroom project going on! How would I know all this if he wasn't making excuses? I would like this record to be published and made public so that others don't get taken advantage of this man who calls himself a company,He is not a company he is a freelance designer who makes continuous excuses for not producing work for the paying client and steals money from innocent peopleHe also told me he uses the same template for every client! Buyer BEWARE!
Regards,

In response to complaint: Our company does not offer a money back guarantee. We have never offered a money back guarantee in our 14 years of existence. If we did, it would be in our contract. The required logo elements were delivered to us on March 10, 2017. The logo was delivered to client on March...
13, 2017. Client has and is using said logo. Infrastructure and backend of website were then created. Our contract states that the client is to provide a site map and all site content. We never received a site map from the client and the site content wasn't uploaded until April 27, 2017 (see attached). The reason we offered the $500 discount was to keep the client, not because we messed up. We have never lost a client in 14 years - we wanted to keep that streak alive. Unfortunately, there's a first time for everything. As client stated, 16.5 hours have been accumulated on this project, which well exceeds the deposit. We were advised to bill the additional hours in excess of the deposit, but we didn't want to do that.
