Review: Rock of Ages Home Assistance LLC owned by Heather Wakefield (her number is ([redacted])... were hired to sit with my elderly neighbor whom I help take care of. They did not show up on 12/20/2015 for a 13 hour shift for a total of $130.00 (they were paid $10.00 an hour)...that they had already been paid in advance for. After they no showed we had to find another means to care for our neighbor...and they said they would refund the money for the day of the NO SHOW. After no payment was received I mailed them a letter and also have sent several [redacted] messages asking for the payment. When I sent the letter I gave them approx. 30 days to pay and asked for the payment by 02/01/2016. I sent several [redacted] messages and she finally responded on 01/28/2016 "you will receive a check soon"...and "I will send it certified" ....I have since then not received any such payment. It is a shame that this business turned bad so fast. They ended up sending people that had not been properly background checked.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the money that was paid to Rock of Ages for the day of service they did not show up to provide. They owe my neighbor that I take care of $130.00.
