In summary, I have an aluminum hulled Rigid bottom inflatable dinghy that I gave to Roche Harbor Marine to have the bottom painted in and In they painted the bottom with the proper paint and in they painted it with copper based paint resulting in galvanic corrosion of the bottom and when the boat was placed back in the water in the boat filled with water due to a leak caused by the swelling and corrosion of the aluminum resulting in separation of the aluminum hull from the fiberglass body Rick at Roche Harbor marine examined the boat and told me that he did not know how to fix it and that the bottom was fiberglass He later admitted that the bottom was aluminum and he did admit to painting it with copper based paint I had a boat repair person with particular experience in galvanic corrosion look at the boat and they determined that the damage was caused by the application of the copper paint on the aluminum hull resulting in swelling of the aluminum and
