We did receive Mr. [redacted]'s order (#[redacted]) on November 7th. Upon review of the order we recognized a system error. Our system inappropriately applied his three $50 coupons as 50% off the order total, then %50 of the sub total and 50% off...

the balance. Our customer service representative had made several attempts via phone to contact Mr. [redacted]. (dates called 11/16, 11/23, 11/30, 12/1) A final email was sent on 12/1 indicating that we needed a call back or we would be cancelling the order(cancelled 12/7).
It appears that the customer service person did not follow up on his email back to us (12/14) after the order was cancelled. We didn't received any contact from Mr. [redacted] until we received the letter from the Revdex.com.
I as the Customer Service Lead have since taken over on this and tried call him several time but he had gotten a new phone and vmail wasn't set up. He said if we tried calling in the last several weeks we wouldn't be able to leave a message. Emailed him to also get him to call.
I talked to Mr. [redacted] this morning after he got one of my messages or email to call me. We were finally able to explain to him what happen. I did ask him if he noticed that he was getting 50% off each coupon and not $50 off each coupon. Mr. [redacted] said he didn't notice being charged $49.99 for an order that is almost $600 when it should be charged just over $425. We were able to work out a compromise to get Mr. [redacted]'s order out to him. Mr. [redacted] has called back with payment and we are shipping out his order today if we can make it before UPS picks up.
