Mr*** never made contact with the company directly regarding warranty items. He might have tried to contact MrDavid F* directly, who at the time of the construction Mr*** references, was operating and attempting to purchase the company. MrF* removed himself from the
firm in May 2017, after failing to complete his purchase. If Mr*** tried to contact him, we have no record of itMany of the files associated with MrF*'s tenure are not available, including this one. Our standard warranty is for one year of materials and labor, but specifies that we must be given an opportunity to make corrections. That did not happen in this case. The company has a strong presence online and in the building department records, so contact information is readily available.Had Mr*** made direct contact with RCI, we would have been happy to make repairs. At this time, we have no way of knowing the costs Mr*** references are valid, for the repairs required. Mr*** had inspections done prior to the closing and accepted the unit as operational. We understand the limitations of that inspection process, and would have responded to the issues, but Mr*** did not communicate his needs until well after he used other means to correct it
