It's funny how you can have money in an account one day, and none in the nextThis is my second time attempting to settle something with this bank, and I am absolutely fed upSadly, I have to take it this far because this bank does not seem to understandNever in my years of banking have I complained about a bank so much! How in the *** is this even possible? Sigh, okay let's start from the beginning, and this might be lengthy; but, I am tiredHonestly, tiredI would like some justice for the inconvenienceI don't make a million dollars a year in salary, if so, even then this ridiculousness would upset me, as I am currently
Logging on to the website and reviewing my statement, low and behold what do I seeThings that don't make sense or add upLet's start with December
December 26, 2016- I am charged a $NNON-TCF ATM FEEUmm, I used a TCF Bank ATM to withdraw $that day! In fact, I can't see AT ALL on my statement where that NON-TCF ATM was usedI go
TCF bank recently updated there online banking that not took away your register so that you can no longer see your running balanceTCF charged me overdraft fees for pending transitions after another check came throughThese transitions were from a visa debit card that were accepted at the time of purchaseTFC held the check then put it through causing more overdraft feesTCF does then after they took away the ledger that shows your running balance
TCF Bank constantly tries to charge their customers fee'sWhen overviewing my account statement, I noticed that I was wrongfully charged overdraft fee's for items that were covered by the money I had in my accountI had a positive balance in my account when pending transactions ( That I was charged for) cleared, even though I had the money in the account to cover the expensesWhen the pending transactions, did NOT even total to more then negative (3.52), which is in the range up to the $5, you can go overThe bank is notorious for pulling whatever transaction they want to charge you an overdraft feeIt is ridiculous, I am not a happy customer I have been banking with TCF for almost years and I get treated terribly
I closed an account with TCF in May of this year and recently had a check from Minnesota Revenue be deposited in the account in SeptemberIf the account is closed and I have no business with TCF how can a check that was deposited into a non existing account be possessed by an institution I have cut ties withI did still have TCF as a Direct Deposit option for the Revenue serviceI contacted the Revenue service and they notified me that if my account is dissolved then the bank should notify the Revenue service the account no longer exists and send me a checkTCF claimed that because I had a direct deposit for the check will associated with the Revenue Service they took the checkAfter I liquidate an account the bank should no longer hold the right to posses my money in any capacity, and they also wanted to charge me for an account maintenance feeAny help would be greatly appreciated
I received a correspondence in the mail from a 3rd party company stating that I owed TCF Bank $I have not used this bank account in months and seeing as how I was not aware that I owed any money to this institution I called their number to inquiry about such chargesI was rudely hung up on after my first attempt at getting the information I was looking for by a customer service rep by the name of "Carmen" due to conflicting informationI asked her to please verify what part of the information that I gave her was incorrect so that I can investigate myself, I presumed that the address info was incorrect because I have not updated the info in over years and have since moved timesBefore I could get any information from her she interrupted me and said that I needed to come into the bank to resolve my issue and after furthering questioning on my end was hung up onI called back a few minutes later and spoke with another customer service rep whose name I didn't catchTh
