My first statement - I do not give a guarantee on concrete How do you guarantee another companys product? I am rejecting this response because:Mr*** has selectively chosen which details to share When we first contacted him he told us he was sold a bad batch of concrete by *** *** We hired Mr***, not *** ***, but because he was unwilling to accept responsibility we contacted them to discuss it They told us flaking can be caused by a number of different factors including salt or overworking the concrete We don't believe salt was the reason because:
1) we have never used salt on our dirveway
2) Mr*** sealed the driveway and we resealed it and it's still flaking
3) the location is in the middle of the driveway and not consistent with where we park It also isn't flaking by the street where the city heavily salts in the winter4) our neighbors hired a different concrete contractor after our troubles and when they looked at our driveway they quickly identified it as concrete that had been overworked in areasLet me know if pictures would be helpful I am happy to post them for youMr*** finally told us last year that he would take care of the repairs and then stopped answering any of our calls As I'm sure you can imagine, this was a large investment for our family I honestly don't believe he has any intention of making it right, but want to do everything I can to be sure no other family gets caught in this situation
