Robert Bosch Tool Corporation

I got a Bosch 12" gliding miter saw for a gift, when I start to use it, I found the base was not dead flat and results that the wood was not stable when cutting, and so did not get a fine straight cut, I did return it ones while in the first year I got the tool and it was repaired, when I got the tool back the same problem occurred, it was still in first year, I called up Bosch to verify the warranty status and they confirmed it is still under the warranty (first year) and sent me a shipping slip, after 2 weeks I got a call from repair technician, he told me, it has the same problem as the first the base is cracked, and that the tool is not under warranty I got to pay over $400 for repair and labor, I told them I got this item for a gift to do fine woodworking, I did not cracked the base it's your poor quality item, it's not cutting straight and they should fix it, his respond was: this is only an half of a cm (1/32") off, this is in the companies error range, and this tool is not made for fine woodworking, it's made only exclusively for ruff cuts on job sites, so 1/32" off is in error range, and he knocked the phone down!
If you look for a saw in your woodworking shop don't get this!
