On 01-14-16 my Ford F650 and trailer were towed to Roadway Repair, by the same company Roadway Towing, regarding a fuel delivery problem the truck was experiencing. On the morning of 01-15-16 I was informed that my truck was fixed and running properly. They failed to contact me prior, neither to explain the diagnosis, provide a written estimate, nor to authorize such repairs. They charged and billed me $620.77 for the towing and for replacing a $4.13 O-ring seal(1.5 hrs of labor). The truck did not make it half way down their driveway when it stalled out. After informing them, they took the truck back into their garage for further repairs. On 01-18-16, I was informed by them that my truck was fixed and running properly. Again, they failed to provide a written estimate regarding repairs and receive authorization by myself. They just went ahead and changed whatever parts they thought where wrong with the truck. They billed charged and billed me $884.70. This time the truck did not make it past their shop gate before it stalled out again. It was obvious that this repair shop does not have the qualifications to perform such services as they advertise. On 01-19-16 I paid Roadway another $425 to tow my truck and trailer to another repair shop. After having the truck diagnosed by the second repair shop, they quickly found the problem, provided a written estimate, and obtained written authorization to proceed with the repairs. All the repairs that Roadway attempted on my truck had nothing to do with what was actually wrong with the vehicle. I ended up paying Roadway $1,930.47 without them fixing my truck.Product_Or_Service: Truck repairDesired SettlementThe desired resolution is to have Roadway refund some of the charges they billed for. I find it illegal to charge for unnecessary labor and services that were not needed. They performed repairs that the truck did not need, and did not repair the truck as was stated on they invoice.
