My receipt and my sales receipt have different amounts.I went to road runner to get my brakes fixed. In the beginning she didn't give me a sales receipt with the details of what Im getting done she only told me the price which was 262.92 and had me swipe my card. When I return to my car and indeed had the details of the work of my car the price was 211.82. I noticed the difference and called Road runner and the sales woman who was very rude with no customer service skills told me that she will not fix the problem and the first price was indeed correct but the sales receipt with the details show it was wrong.Desired SettlementI indeed would like an apology and an refund of the 50 dollars because of there mistakes so next time they will be more organized and not in a rush with the information and get the prices correct.Business Response On October 31, 2015 Ms. [redacted] came in around 2 o'clock in the afternoon. She needed rear shoes hardware and both drums. We gave her a written estimate with the price. Ms. [redacted] agreed to the price and asked to pay for the services before they were done. Due to the fact that she needed to get back to work. Our office manager made an honest mistake on the receipt. She had done the paper work last minute before she left. Our office manager leaves at 2:30. At the time our office manager was leaving Ms. [redacted] had asked her for a ride and unfortunately our manager was not going in that direction. When Ms. [redacted] called on Monday the office manager looked on the receipt and said she was sorry it was a mistake, and that she could fax her a corrected receipt. Then told Ms. [redacted] that it was a mistake on the receipt and that she could come in and see the drums were both replaced. She said she would call back. Ms. [redacted] called back a short time later stating she wanted her money back because she didn't know what drums were. At that point the office manager told her she could come to the shop and they would show her the new parts and the old parts on the shop floor. It was also mentioned to her that she could see the new drums through her rear wheels. Then the office manager told her she could not return money for items that she had received. At that point Ms. [redacted] proceeded to say she was going to file a complaint due to the fact that she thought she was being taken advantage of. Ms. [redacted] received all items that were on her original estimate it was an honest clerical mistake that was made. Road Runner was in no way trying to take advantage of Ms. [redacted].
