Review: On July 15th I purchased $20 of 87 Octane from the Foxcroft ROC Station and my engine was damaged within 4 minutes. I broke down in front of a garage and the car was immediately taken into service; 5 gallons of diesel fuel was subsequently removed from my car. I provided a sample of the fuel, a letter of complaint, and all receipts and invoices for repair to Jason R[redacted] of R[redacted] Energy. Mr. R[redacted] insisted that I'd accidently used the diesel pump and that he would prove his claim by finding the receipt. However, he never was able to prove his claim, and my own merchant CC receipt shows a normal gas purchased, Added to that, I had to work the card reader and 87 Octane button twice on the pump in order to get it to work, and am 100% certain I did this correctly. On two subsequent calls to Mr. R[redacted], he changed his story to say that the rain was to blame, or possibly a filter--and he renamed the issue "fuel" separation. However, the fact is that the fluid is Diesel fuel instead of Gasoline. The customer service at this company has been a nightmare and I get a different story every time I call, when I get a response at all. This company sells a hazardous product and is a danger to the public.Desired Settlement: $720.00 to cover the repair to my automobile, towing, and $20 of fuel.
