RJS Homesource of Hilliard (***) owner Ryan J sold LVP flooring material and installed in my commercial office space. He assured me that there was a one year labor warranty, 10 year product warranty and he would repair anything needed within one year at no cost. I first reported the need for this repair with in 6 months of install as we had loose boards in several areas. He first said he would come out and repair, then after realizing we would need to purchase a couple boxes of LVP for repair, he said that he would get an independent inspection. I waited for months and kept asking about the claim status and why no inspection. Ryan said he filed a claim several times, but the manufacturer and they said no claim filed.
Finally, 4 months later after many text/email inquires, Ryan said he would send boxes needed for repair and have completed. I reminded him of correct product/color needed for our office that he sold us over a pallet of and asked him to double check it. Yet after his crew ripped up my floors for repair, they discovered that Ryan sent the wrong color LVP so they could not repair.
Ryan then said he refused to order the correct color and either I go purchase the correct material myself from someone else or the floors will be left as is (all torn up). Ryan refused to order the correct flooring, said he would not pay for the material or order even though he sold and installed this flooring and well with in both labor and material warranty. He was paid over $8,000 for floor prep, material and install for this office plus over $5000 on another job and this repair started as only needed 1-2 boxes but spread since unrepaired for 4 months so needed 5 which I finally had to purchase myself.
