If the software disc is in fact defective based on our testing of it, we can exchange it That's why we requested that the customer bring it in at NO CHARGE to resolve the issue Customer chose not to do that, instead chose to deal with *** *** We cannot go by what *** *** says due to many technical factors involved with system/software downgrades from Windows to Windows that can cause symptoms described This includes systems BIOS UEFI settings, correct hard drive formatting, driver issues and availability, and others, that MAY NOT be related in any way to the software disc Again we can EXCHANGE defective discs That is what we offer and is standard in the industry *** *** has the exact same policy as do all other software retailers
