my requests and resolved the problems.He had charged me only for the kitchen sink which was acceptable.   He also has sent me unconditional

Review: I hired RJH construction for replacement of kitchen cabinets after removal of water damaged old ones. The cost of the repair and replacement were to be covered by my home insurance, Farmers. On the contract, RJH construction stated that he will work within the estimate of Farmers and my husband and I were only responsible for the deductible of 2000 dollars. [redacted] the owner of the Rjh construction was very difficult to deal with during the construction. He took more than one month to finish the work and did not show up when he was supposed to show up. after a month, without completely finishing the job, he claimed that he gave me everything I wanted and he wanted more money. The insurance declined his request with a reason they do not cover the updating of the cabinets. The total payment to [redacted] is $17,962.20 including deductible and recoverable depreciation. Compared to his work, this fund is more than enough in my opinion. [redacted] had assured me and my husband from the beggining he will deal with insurance to get paid. He told my husband he could even waive the deductible when the work is done. Now he claims that he is 5000 dollars short without any evidence and asking me to tell Farmers to pay him the balance of 1668.00 However, he didn't present with the invoice that will enable me to understand his complaint. His repair and replacement of the kitchen cabinet is not completely finished and he issued a conditional lien release to use it as a hostage against me to get the balance he claims he deserves. Since he started his work at my place, I have constantly been asking him to provide me with invoice of his work. He has never responded me in that matter and continue to work. The paint of the cabinets are already coming off and I found the cracks on the counter top. He is not interested in his customer's satisfaction but only free money.Desired Settlement: I want [redacted] to complete his unfinished work, change the counter top and I want him to send the paid invoice of his work including supporting documentt and stop asking for more money. I also want him to issue a lien release.
