months after the check was dated. On 3/11/2014, it was determined that check #[redacted] was stale dated, therefore the debit was reversed and our customer's account was credited $388.00. State dated checks are checks that have been dated 180 days prior to being presented for deposit or for cash. It is Riverview Bank's practice to refuse items over 180 days as collection becomes questionable.The customer's account history was reviewed with her and copies of the monthly account statements were provided to her. I am rejecting this response because: they can not tell me where the 388.00 went, It was automatically taken out of my account by electronic transfer by that check [redacted] .I am the one that caught that check after 6 months and I called the bank to tell them it was stale dated. Plus I asked if they check the dates on the checks and they said NO. That check was cashed twice. The bank said that all my statements should show all electronic transfers and there is only 3 of them that show it, the rest don't!! I think this bank should get AUDITED!! They have my money and don't want to return it. This is not the first time I am hearing this bank taking peoples money. I won't give up on this until they return my money to me. So please get them AUDITED!!!
