I was shown the house, on the 11th of July, and upon seeing the house, Ms.C of Rivertown Realty, informed me that she would have Pest control spray the home, HVAC come fix the air conditioning in the home, and the flooring in the hallway dealt with prior to us moving in. Well, we made a security deposit for the house on July 12, and due to unforeseeable circumstances, postponed our move-in date to Friday, August 9th. After arriving at the home around noon, we discovered the bug infestation which included spiders as well as their eggs, the air hadn't been fixed, the bathtub and toilet weren't operable, the flooring in the hallway was unleveled and things needed to be sealed according to pest control, the thermostat was barely secured to the wall, and all the sockets in one bedroom had been installed incorrectly. After reporting all these issues within a 72-hour time frame as in accordance with the lease, we didn't get a chance to move until around 3am the next morning, the 10th. Earlier that same day, we attempted to schedule for HVAC people to come in and fix the air along with Pest control and actually were notified that someone would be sent out but that was only after the complete run around in discussing this with the Rivertown agent as well as Ms.C. It's the next day, and although Saturday, there was an expectation that someone would be in contact with me to at least tell me 'Oh we'll come Monday" but nothing. Instead Ms.C tells me to contact Ms.S who isn't the most good customer service driven and tells me that people would come Monday to resolve the issues and they did as far as the restroom goes, but there is still a crack along the baseboard in the living room as well as uneveness in the flooring, and unusable sockets in an entire BR. HVAC did come after 2 days of no response and a missed appointment Monday, but there were inconvenience issues that impacted not only me and my spouse, but everyone that could no longer help, and moving trucks that we set up prior to all this.
Billing Adjustment We demand a prorate rent of $550 of the full $775 next month minus $100, $25 for each day without air plus incovenience along with our agreed upon $250 puppy fee we were waived by Ms.C to whom I'm grateful for in our interactions regarding all this. So a total of $700 to be paid, as the things we agreed to have completed, the airing and pest control at minimum, were not handled upon arrival.

Tenant's issues as reported were addressed immediately and tenant was given the proration as requested in the complaint. Tenant reports being satisfied with the resolution as described and intends to withdraw the complaint. Tenant stated show would withdraw the complaint but had forgotten to do so.
