Review: This complaint addresses services for dental work that were non-cosmetic for my Mother, Ms. [redacted]. The Riverside Dental Office in Clifton was asked to provide us with a contract and bill last year. A payment of $3,000 was credited and paid by me to pay for the work for my Mother. My Mother requested a contract and bill on numerous occasions and none was ever provided. Dr. [redacted] and her staff advised my mother that nothing was owed and that the $3,000 was enough to pay for the extractions and the retainer they made for her. On September 5, 2013, My Mother received a bill at her home address advising that I am the guarantor for an additional amount owed by her for dental services rendered in the amount of $4,389.00. My mother is a 66 year old widow with no health care of her own. She feels that she has been deceived by Dr. [redacted] and her staff. I am simply surprised that a doctor would not provide a clear billing statement and outline why the costs are what they say they are. This is clearly an unprofessional office and this is more likely than not the first time they have done this to someone. I have disputed the charges with their office by formal letter to them.Thank you for your time and consideration of this matter.Desired Settlement: I would like Riverside to remove my name as a guarantor and provide my Mother, Ms. [redacted], with an itemized bill. I do not want to have this matter affect my credit standing. Also, I have advised my Mother to inform her attorney if she will be disputing all or some of the charges. She was advised she doesn't owe the office anything; thus, they should not be billing her anything at all.

Response:
I've contacted the customer. We have cleared that the bill, which we were mailing at her mother's house was acutally customer's ([redacted]) bill. Since, Ms.[redacted] had moved did not have her new mailing address, the office was mailing the bill to her mother's house ( [redacted] old address on file). We did contact [redacted] regarding the matter and have cleared the confusion. We also have her new address now, so we will send the bill to her new address to resolve the matter. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the office at ###-###-####. Thank you,
