aftermarket modifications we were not able to lift the vehicle for inspection of the clutch without causing extensive body damage. General Motors warranty on the clutch is for 12 months, due to the clutch being  a wear  item. The customer had over 24,000 miles on the Vehicle and is over three years old so therefore the warranty coverage on the clutch is no longer valid. If we would have tried to lift the vehicle with our racks we would have caused excessive damage to the aftermarket body kit.  We explained  to the customer that we were unable to lift the vehicle and if we did so, it would  cause damage to the body kit. There was already damage to the rear of the vehicle, cracks in the body  from the vehicle body flexing. We are more than willing to look at the vehicle but can’t be responsible for any damage that maybe caused by lifting the vehicle with all these modification to the body
