Review: I was given a first bill of $6,500. to have my bathroom done for my disable husband. that was to have the tub taken out and converted into a walk in shower,the ceiling fix. At that time all I was going to have needed was to have gutted was were the old tub was, which I excepted. Than I deceided to gut the whole bathroom so his price I was told was $2,000. more which I except. Than when he came out while the work was being done told me he was adding on another $4,000. than I ask to see a cost list of what It was costing me so far, but I was getting brush off.I put out $1,000.to buy the tile,the entrance door, and the floor, and te shower door out of my own pocket,that wasnt even in the price. The only thing in the price was labor and some wood,and drywall, and the shower underliner, and installing the floor. I paid him $8,600 I feel I should get about $3,000. back since he quit on me before the job was finish. My sons step in and told him he was ripping me off so he quit on me. I hope you can do something for me and my husband.44Desired Settlement: $3,000 I would like back. I'm on social security disability and the money means a lot. The bathroom was done for my husband who is disable and is faced with losing a foot due to diabetese,we are struggling.
