Review: I had my first visit at Riverdale Family Dental for check up/cleaning. I gave them my two insurances as I have a primary and a secondary insurance. I was told that I have some fillings to do. I scheduled a second appointment for the fillings to be done. At my second appointment one filling was done and after the procedure took place I was given a form named "Restoration Consent Form Composite White Fillings" to sign and I was told at that time that the office does not work with amalgams fillings and only with composite white fillings and the insurance is not covering therefore I have to pay $95. I have also found out after the fact that the office does not work with secondary insurance. At no time before the procedure was I mentioned about those things so I can decide for myself if I would like to proceed with the fillings or not. They just completely forgot to mention about those "small" details. How do they now if a person can afford $95 for a filling?? I have two insurances and I had to pay $95 out of my pocket.Desired Settlement: I would like my $95 to be refunded. Thank you!
