I am responding to this complaint from Miss [redacted] The details of the complaint are vague and somewhat incorrect, but we will straighten this out nowWe are not responsible for what insurance companies do or don't do....we do our best to offer the correct services and when necessary we will call an insurance company on the patient's behalf Miss [redacted] 's insurance apparently has certain limitations on what may be covered and how many times per calendar year the services will be paid They refused payment and subsequently we sent Miss [redacted] 7-monthly statements with her balance, including notation that insurance was not paying.After those months our accountant took the account and placed it in a collection service The service charges us an amount for that service once the bill is paidSo, while it is not fair that the insurance did not cover her services,it is also not fair that we pay a fee...which we did not have a choice if we were to be paid at allor that we waited months for that payment We also wonder why Miss [redacted] chose to file a complaint over $when we did nothing wrong, and have known her for years A call to ask or negotiate the problem would have yielded a much better result.So, we will remove the charges and resolve this problem, and Miss [redacted] have a copy of her old xrays if she chooses
