The reply from River View Resort is unacceptable and does not address my primary requesr to provide DETAILED information about what the $"maintenance fee" consists of I am not paying $until I receive an itemized list of costs the make up the $ I will pursue this matter legally if they refuse to supply this simple information I am sure they are not disclosing this information up front because this is a "fee" that goes directly to their bottom line profits, not toward maintenance or repairs to the property $makes no sense for a one week use of this very low quality property There are other customers that are upset about this as well and their conplaints are coming.

Almost all the 4000+ RCI resorts and 2000+ Interval International resorts bill in advance for maintenance fees the year beforeAour next year's property taxes are due in November and Bwe require operating capital to be on hand in advance not After our bills come due We have over
owners and this is the only one who has ever complained about this standard industry practiceIf an owner does not pay on time they are contacted in mid November to give them a chance to pay in full and after that a $late fee is chargedIf they have not paid in full including any additional late fees incurred by early the next year they are sent to collections where up to 50% late fees may be incurred to the collection agencyOur owners know that it is their best interest to have their resort fiscally stable and over 98% of our owners pay on time
