My husband purchased $300 in gift cards for me as a Christmas present. Her website lists her phone number and another scheduling service. On Feb 15th, I attempted to schedule online but the scheduling site would not accept my gift card so I reached out to her by text. Her response was very slow and took numerous texts and approximately 2 1/2 wks and I was still without an appointment. I asked for a refund due to difficulty scheduling and she said she would schedule with me. On Feb 26th we scheduled a massage for March 13th at 4pm . On March 13th at 11:37 I received a text from the owner of the business stating she was cancelling the service due to weather and road conditions .I asked for an appointment for a pedicure before March 25th. She was unable to meet my request but offered an appointment for the 27th. She has another practitioner listed on her website and I asked if I could schedule with him and she said no , he was only available for couples massage. At this point I was feeling very stressed just trying to schedule a service and I asked for the refund again. She told me she would give me a refund and asked for my gift card numbers. I gave her the numbers and the following week she said she would give me a partial refund, minus $85 for service I never received. I texted that I never received the service and expected a full refund. I have tried to schedule a service with Ms *** from Feb 15 through Mar 16th without success and I just want my money refunded.
my name is ***, Owner and Operator of PMSC Muscular Therapy (formerly named Professional Massage And Skin Care) in Barre, Vermont. Ms. has requested a refund from the gift card purchases totaling $300.00. Although it is against my policy to do so, and having a non-refundable gift card policy, I tried to accommodate her with to come and receive services, however because the dates I offered her to use those gift cards were not going to work for her, I agreed to give her a refund to keep in good with customers. I have offered on numerous occasions to refund her money upon returning the actual physical gift cards back to the business shop, to start the refund process. I have asked her to simply mail or to stop in person with advanced notice so that she could get her refund back in a timely manner. Because she has refused to return the gift cards, it has unfortunately delayed the refund for several weeks now. I am checking in with my Square payment processing company to see if there is a way to handle the refund process without actually having the physical gift cards present. I will be sending another email to the Revdex.com with text conversation exchanges between Ms. and myself from the dates of 2/24/18 to present
