We are writing in response to the billing/collection issues complaint posted on the Revdex.com website on November 9, After looking into our records further, it seems that there was a communication error between the pet owner posting the complaint and the *** ***The *** *** brought the pet
in with the owner, and when we presented the costs that are not covered by the ** *** Program, the *** argued that they are coveredWhen we called the owner after surgery to let him know everything went well and to discuss the charges as well as the discharge appointment time, we reached the *** *** againShe again tried to tell us that everything is covered by the state program, which it is notThe pain injection, oral pain medications, and the surgical biohazardous waste fee is not covered, which amounted to $and was billed to the owner on recordWe do not perform a painful surgery, such as an ovariohysterectomy, on an animal and then deny them medication for painFor that reason, the pet received the appropriate pain medications and the owner was billed accordingly

I am rejecting this response because: these extra fees were never communicated to me. I asked multiple times when I dropped the dog off for surgery if there would be any other fees associated with the surgery as I would not be picking the dog up after surgery. RRVC had my telephone number and neglected to call and inform me of them. I also called during the day to see how the surgery went/was going and the charges were not communicated to me at that time either. The miscommunication had nothing to do with the [redacted] Animal Control officer.
