Review: A friend and I decided that we needed to lose weight and after seeing the newspaper ad in the [redacted], that Nutrimost guaranteed 20 to 40 pound weight loss in 40 days. We called and scheduled an appointment on May 29, 2014. We both enrolled in the program for a cost of $1600 each. When we spoke to the director of the program [redacted] we were led to believe that this enrollment in the program would be until we achieved our goal weight and all the supplements would be provided. In the journal we received it referred to Day 86 & LIFE. There was never any mention of additional costs. After we were in the program for 65 days and we met with a staff member, she questioned if we wanted to continue to lose weight and we both said yes, then we were informed that there was an additional cost of $995. We were shocked! We felt deceived! We had numerous questions that the staff member could not answer, she left the room and [redacted] came in to address are concerns about being deceived. My friend even asked to speak to the Doctor and [redacted] said No. When I said, what?, she said, well he wont do anything about it, you didnt stick to the program so there was nothing that could be done as far as continuing in the program without paying an additional cost.Desired Settlement: Truth in advertising so others are not deceived.Honesty of program staff.I was paying a monthly fee - I have contacted my bank and stopped all transactions due to fraud.

Review: A friend read about the NutriMost in the Erie Times. It sounded great to be able to lose 20-40 pounds in a month and keep it off permanently, guaranteed! They advertised a man lost 95 pounds in 100 days. On May 29, 2014 we made an appointment and paid $1525.00 so we could meet our dream weight goal. I asked the director, "If we don't achieve our weight goals, can we continue on the program?" She said, "Oh yes." I asked, "What about the supplements?" She said, "All provided for you." We were told we had to use certain shampoo, wash soap, mouthwash, deodorant, or the oils would make our weight plateau. We were not told the diet would be 500 calories a day. We were led to believe we could be in the program until we met our weight loss goal with no extra cost. On July 9, 2014, we were discussing the program with a staff member. My friend stated she wanted to lose more weight. The staff person said, "Yes you can after you complete this phase." "Then you can for $995.00 and $100.00 off if you refer a person." My friend repeated the statement, "This is going to cost $995.00?" I know we both were in shock, as we had no idea we had to pay any more money. We both would not have signed up if we knew this on the first visit! We discussed our feelings about being deceived on our last visit - August 4, 2014. [redacted], the director informed us that we were the only people that complained or heard her wrong. She made us feel like we were stupid, as she referred to the miscommunication as a brain wave issue. We feel we were greatly deceived! We were in the program from May 30, 2014 to August 4, 2014, a total of 65 days. In the journal we received; it never stated there would be more costs to be in the program. On the last page it said - 86 days & on for life. This would lead a person to believe that they could be in the program for at least that time- don't you think? We are surprised that a Christian facility would be so deceitful.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the amount I paid - $1525.00
